I just picked up FF13 and have been playing it lately, and I have just gotten to the point where I am supposed to insert the 2nd disc. My question is this: is it possible to "install" the 2nd and 3rd discs to the HDD? I have the first disc installed, but when I put in the 2nd disc, I don't have an option to install it, only to play or eject it. I think I recall having this issue with Mass Effect 2 as well, but I don't know for sure. Anybody have any insight? Thanks in advance.
It could be from all the system or game updates you have to apply...I think that whenever you have to apply an update to anything, it automatically signs you out of XBL for a moment or two.

Tried this as well, didn't make a difference for me. Anyways, I emailed Steam like someone mentioned so we'll see if they can help.On your steam client, go to library, select tf2 right click and go to settings and under one of them you can verify game cache fils, which will make sure you have every file. It happened to me will S.T.A.L.K.E.R:SoC ( except the game wouldn't load at all) because it didn't download the exe and some data files.

It should work. I was able to run it on my 4 year old Toshiba Tecra P.O.S. laptop on low. You might want to try these settings in your launch options: -novid -windowedAdam_the_Nerdthese launch settings worked, but the game comes up in a small window instead of full screen. But at least I can see the menu now!!
So I just bought TF2 on the Halloween Sale that Steam has. I downloaded it and installed it just fine, but when I go to play it the game locks up everytime. I get the Valve company logo screen and then I get the "loading" screen which pictures usually either the Blue or the Red team, but then after that the screen goes black and the game freezes, can't even get to any kind of main menu.
I am running this on a pretty new laptop with no upgrades (Intel stock video card set) so I realize performance is an issue, but I tested my system on the "Can I run this" site and everything checked out.
I tried the following FAQ from Steam/Valve: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6956-UGCB-7160
I followed the steps on there but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? Am I **** out of luck?
Thanks!
I also posted this in the rock band forum but it didn't look very active so I thought I would give it a try here...
I just bought the Beatles version of Rock Band with all the instruments and the microphone doesn't seem to be working. I'm using the controller as a navigator for the mic, but whenever I try to select a player as using the mic, all it says is something along the lines of "you must have between one to three microphones plugged in". Is the mic probably broken already? Is there a Live update needed for the game to get it up and running?
