@ribstaylor1: Prebuilt. I don't mind paying extra for having something ready out of the box. I would like it to be upgradeable though, which I would assume most if not all of them are.

@ribstaylor1: I was thinking laptop, but I travel with my Xbox. I'm primarily going to be using this for RPG's and PC exclusives so I don't really need portability for that. So the desktop is what I'm thinking of going with.
I'm open to recommendations as far as places I can build comparable machines. Like I said I know nothing and all of my friends swear by their Alienwares.
@ribstaylor1: Why wouldn't you go Alienware? I know you guys know the ins and outs of PC gaming.

This is the one I'm looking at, checking articles online about the graphics card. It looks like a rebranded GTX 670. Seeing several websites benchmark it with favorable reviews. I'm not looking to play games at crazy resolutions. All I want is 1920x1080. 1080p isn't hard to achieve on a machine like this according to my friends.
I'm a guy that wants to start his foray into PC gaming. Looking at getting an Alienware Laptop. I was going to build my own, but looking at their website; a lot of the terms for graphics cards go way over my head. I'm looking on Amazon for prebuilt ones, and I'm curious if you guys know what models are decent. I know know about RAM, HDD/SSD, and that kind of stuff. Graphics cards and GPU's are over my head. (I play an Xbox One)
If any of you guys have any info and could educate me a little I'd be grateful. Thanks!
I apologize if this is a repeat topic. I picked up a copy of Assassin's Creed IV on the PS3 to tide me over until the PS4 launched. I used the code to download the discounted digital version of the game, but now it won't work. I have the PS3 disc in the drive. When I launch the game it shows the startup icon for about 10 seconds, then boots me back to the dashboard. Has anybody else had this issue with Assassin's Creed IV, or any other of the digital upgrade titles available? Have you fixed it? I would appreciate any help in this manner. Thanks!
Hey guys. So I just purchased DA:OUE from GameTree and I'm having some problems. After trying to download and install from Amazon (which what a joke that was), I called them and had them issue a refund so I could get a working copy of the game from elsewhere. I downloaded and installed without a hitch and now I'm having some problems with the framerate and such. I have a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro 13" with 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR3 RAM, with Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 Lion installed. I have read in a few spots that people with the same configuration are having no problems getting this game to run decently smooth. I'm not expecting to get 60FPS out of this game as I know its kind of slow to begin with but when it chugs at 10FPS it kinda makes for a crappy experience. Wondering if any of you Mac experts can help me out on this and let me know if there are any apps and such that I can download to optimize my experience. Also please PC gamers, I'm aware that PC is a far better platform for computer gaming so please try not to leave any smart a** remarks saying that it is. I just want some help. Thanks in advance guys.
