Im not accussing you of being a fanboy, you're far from being one but I do think you're bias because everyone is bias to one way or another. I just dont like when people point out that they own more then one system and it somehow makes their opinion neutral cough*bioshockownz*cough

Man me and Bioshockownz always go back and forth (well use to), he knows how I feel about his posts. He loves to irrigate people on purpose(which hes admitted to), which irritates me because instead of making this place a little better he just adds to the mud slinging that goes on in most threads and then at the very end whips out his PS3 pic....

If it seems like I "disappear" its actually just means Im ignoring him thats all.

I don't know how more Cows aren't frustrated by the fact that so few people use their microphones. Especially in a game is greatly aided by the ability to communicate and coordinate.

Microsoft got it right by bundling headsets with their system. Sony should really start taking notes. A cheap USB headset with every system can go a long way.

I'm really disappointed that they didn't start including them over time. It's really hurt the community and it's sad, because there's no other reason for it. :(

I think what really hurt was the fact they didn't have an offical PS3 headset at launch, a lot of my friends didnt game online with the PS2 and the ones that did had no clue they could use their PS2 headset.

The awful camera -- one of the worst I've dealt with in a 3D environment -- compounds those problems and unnecessarily complicates the combat. It drags along behind you like a wounded dog and wanders off on its own when you need it most. When fighting multiple enemies that are more than a sword's length away, it's a chore to constantly pull the right trigger (which forces the camera to face the same way as Ryu). When those enemies come armed with unblockable projectiles, it becomes damn annoying. And while you can look around from a first-person perspective, moving the camera in third-person is bizarrely locked into a binary system of viewpoints -- you can angle it up or down, but you can't focus on anything in between.

2.) Why did you backtrack on your graphics claim? "THE GRAPHICS ARE BAD" was your comment. Show me how many reviews have made that claim. And relative to what? Because they're better than Sigma.

the only problem is that Ninja Gaiden 2 looks just like Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the PS3 with barely any improvement in graphics and no Rachel segments to switch things up.

The latest 1up yours podcast also contains choice comments like "it looks like every other team ninja games" and "the women look like realdolls" and "no-one plays team ninja games for the graphics any more this title is proof"

3.) Show me the reviews that say the level design is "worse".

Ryu Hayabusa is regularly at odds with his surroundings. It may be more focused structurally, but NG2 is the most linear action game I've played in recent memory. Invisible walls around every area maintain an awkward couple of feet between Ryu and physical interaction with the backgrounds, which -- while generally pretty -- feel artificially desolate until the bad guys appear out of nowhere. Even walking near ledges feels weird, as more invisible barriers hold you back until you jump through them. It's a world of "cans" and "can nots," and the missing gradation between them makes basic navigation feel a bit off.
