They've been losing money hand over fist since 2008. Plus their revenue has been really low. I love THQ, they are one of my favorite companies because they are willing to try new IPs, but obviously their current strategy isn't working.

Their revenue was just 665 million. in 2010 I think i heard that Valve's revenue was just under 1 billion which means they are easily larger than THQ. Plus, Valve has said that their sales have increased 100% in 2011 so it is possible that they are now almost a 2 billion dollar company making them one of the largest video game companies.

hoola

Whille i agree that Valve is probably much bigger at this point, they also have Steam on their side, which helps. :P

I know some of their games have underperformed recently critically but i thought they were doing pretty good for themselves. Homefront sold around 3 million if i recall correctly and i thought Saints Row sold pretty well too. Hopefully they get bought and can continue to make good games or someone will buy their assets and put them to good use.

Also does anyone know what that means for that game inSane? Is that cancelled now?

Actually when a game is over simplistic, like a party, sports, dance, it is for casual market, for the masses of gamers

The more involving experinces, like RPGs, adventures or tactical shooters are core imo

loosingENDS

Again, linearity and party games do not dictate whether a game is casual. Distinctions used to be realtively easy last gen and the ones before. Companies have adapted to attracting both "core" and "casual" gamers.

Singular opinions do not dictate much i'm afraid. Unless it's some form of dictatorship/extreme communism, even those in power are held accountable by the people.

Now, can you please list the games that are directly developed and/or published by Microsoft.

Halo 4 is first party, and the fact you listed Skyrim DLC is **** hilarious.

I dont see what communism has in common with a dictatorship, considering in communism the men in power are directly elected from the people (like Soviets in USSR), while in a dictatorship there is nothing like that of course

.

But anyway, here is a analysis

.

Witcher 2 (PC/360 only)

Mass Effect 3 (exlusive Kinect support)

Ryse (3rd party exclusive by Crytek, MS published)

Fable Journey (1st party exclusive by Lionhead, MS published)

Alan Wake American Nightmare (3rd party exclusive by Remedy, MS published)

Haunt (3rd party exclusive by Sega, MS published)

Star Wars (3rd party exclusive by Lucasarts, MS published)

Dust Elysian Tale (1st party exclusive by Humble Hearts, MS published)

Project Draco (3rd party exclusive by Grounding, Panzer Dragoon developer, MS published)

Steel Batallion (3rd party exclusive by From Software, Dark Souls developer, MS published)

Ghost Recon - exlusive Kinect support

Halo 4 (3rd party exclusive by 343, MS published)

Battleblock Theater (3rd party exclusive by Behemoth, Castle Crashers developer, MS published)

Bloodforge (3rd party exclusive by Climax, Sudeki developer, MS published)

Clas3 MMO (3rd party exclusive, MS published)

FEZ

Hybid (3rd party exclusive by 5th Cell, MS published)

Minecraft

Skyrim Expansions 30 day exclusive on 360

Halo 4 is first party, and LOL at Akyrim dlc.

I'm sorry but aside from Halo 4 and that Class 3 zombie game (which i dont care about i just want the MMO) that 360 list is awful. At least the PS3 list has some games that look fun and arent a 5 hour arcade game like half of the 360 games you listed.

loosingENDS

That is opinion

I like wha 360 has in 2012 a million times over 5 hour cut scenes like Uncharted/Last of Us

My top 2012 games are Witcher 2, Skyrim, Mass effect, Ryse, Draco, alan Wake, Fable Journey, Dust Elysian Tale

PS3 has nothing much, like it had nothing in 2011

No **** its my opinion thats why i said it dumbass. All those games you listed are crap and will go unnoticed in the bowels of the xbox live marketplace. To say the PS3 had nothing much in 2011 is hilarious, because it had a hell of a lot more than a 360. This is coming from a guy who has a 360 since launch and is sick of MS screwing over actual gamers for idiots like you who have their head stuck in their ass.

[QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]

[QUOTE="ToastRider11"] I sleep with a t-shirt on. So I dont know how I would get a long scratch on my side.

ToastRider11

Maybe try wearing gloves? If that doesn't work, then you will know it isn't your hands causing the problem.

Im pretty sure already that my hands are not the problem. Like I said, my nails aren't that long and strong enough to make me bleed.

Do you have a cat?
