Do you have a hdd? If so try installing the game to it to see if that helps. However as you've said there are no visible scratches on the disc the problem is likely with the 360 itself. My 360 started freezing up just before I got RRoD.

i tried playing cod waw today and it was freezing about 15-20 minutes into the game. it has no scratches and other games i played worked just fine.

thats a good idea but i don't want to go through the hassle of ebay. Lazy...FTW.

Hey i just got a new computer, and to try it out i was wondering if there were any free pc games to download that i would enjoy. i like fps, action and sports games. rpg's are good too.
