Using cheat codes technically is cheating, but cheating can sometimes be fun.

@fatalscorpion: You're just going to have to wait to purchase new games or buy used. Also, Amazon is you friend.

@brewski2991: It is the remastered version of the first game, but if you buy it and play it before the end of the year, then you get Xbox One backwards compatible versions of the rest of the series. The rest of the series isn't remastered and it isn't known whether or not it will include all the DLC.

@ronxray89: It's a little challenging since you don't have a weapon, but if you're good at stealth, than it's not that bad. I played and beat both and I never died so much that it got frustrating. With that said, I probably died a lot because there are some challenging sequences. I remember one part that I hated early on was where you where in the flooded basement avoiding enemies while trying to turn on three pumps/switches to restore power. I also was never a fan of the sequences where the big chain guy stalked you while you had to activate something or collect things to escape. There are a lot of these cases where The Doctor, The chain guy, and near the end Billie are chasing you, while they did add a lot of tension, once you started dying a lot it lost it scare factor and got annoying. But overall, I would definitely recommend playing Outlast, it is one of my favorite horror games.

As long as the world is filled with things to do, than I don't think it can be too big. As for fast travel, I used to be able to live without it but Fallout and Skyrim have spoiled me. Don't get me wrong, I like exploring and finding interesting things, but I'm a hoarder and always loot everything, so I want to be able to travel back and forth fast. I could almost not play Dragon's Dogma due to its lack of fast travel and even the Witcher 3 annoys me a little bit that I have to travel to sign posts, but that's better than nothing.

@Alucard_Prime: Yeah I've played a little of Tower of Guns, but Ziggurat is my favorite. Tower of Guns would be a great GwG too.

I would recommend just buying another controller, it sounds like your headset port on your controller is shorting out

I know that the game is playable to all accounts on your home xbox one console. but I don't know if it would remain playable if you remove your account.

I really like the improvements their adding to the existing game more than the actual content. I've always hated the light leveling system.
