OMG! don't let one stupid game stop you from buying one if it's really what you want. there are plenty of good reasons for owning a ps3. if you have the money to spare, just buy it

Not stupid, I did the same thing with the 360 (My personall fav. controller). Will be getting a PS3 soon though, Warhawk and MGS.
well, thank you for the support. and between you and The_Rick_14, i'm glad i'm not the only one who factors in controllers when making a console purchase decision.
