Antifa literally means "anti-fascist." I don't know how much more clear-cut it can get.

@JimB: Yet the US has the highest incarcration rate in the world.

Then maybe you should ask yourself why so many end up in prison. They are not innocent people there. The US, through media, has for decades encouraged a culture that glorifies crime and violence. Maybe you should start there instead of whining about one of the symptoms.

It's media and entertainment's fault America has more prisoners than any other country?

Interesting to see the fascists in this thread making excuses for their comrade.

Antifa suddenly means fascist now? Also lol at the "comrade" at the end.

Get off the internet, dude. Have some fun for once.

Looking forward to more civil liberties being rolled back. America is a such shit country.

It has its problems, but all things considered (and especially after what’s going on in Afghanistan and the crap many demographics are going to endure)….I thank my lucky stars daily I live in this country.

Voting suppression laws are literally being advocated and implemented in half the country, plus if the court can butcher abortion rights, then they'll do the same to gay and transgender rights as well. Just because you're not personally affected by these rulings and issues doesn't make them any less bad.

Being a landlord isn't a real job anyway. Don't care that they're going through a hard time considering that people who have to rent struggle more.

And yet, Florida is still significantly below New York in death toll and the vast majority of New York's death toll happened in a single city. With Florida having a higher percentage of elderly, they should have surpassed NY months ago. As of August 27th, NY, PA, NJ, IL, GA, MI, AZ, MA, IN, LA, AL, OK, CT, MS, AR, NV, NM, RI, SD, ND all have a higher rate per 100,000 when compared to Florida.

This idea that the death rate or toll in Florida is something significant and somehow proves the efficacy of vaccine and mask mandates is... fake news as Florida is still well behind several states that did all these things.

What a f ucking take right here.

"New York has 54,000 dead, Florida only has 44,000 dead. Completely different scenario!"

Of you haven't been paying attention, this is how history unfold in this country: republicans create a mess, which was a 20 year old war. Democrats have to fix it, as they always have to, then Democrats take the blame. Same crap over and over.

This current administration can't pour water out of a boot with directions on the heel. The constitution was set up to be able to remove a bad president. The thinking was the VP could take over. In the current state the VP is worse than the current president. I don't know how the country is going to survive. There is no leadership in Washington.

By this same manner could we have called for Ronald Reagan's resignation after the 1983 barracks bombing Lebanon? ~250 marines died in a single attack. What about George Bush right after 9/11? Both of these incidents, and their ancillary after effects, have racked up a huge American and military death toll. Or if it's not necessarily the death toll let's look at PR and global initiatives. Trump removed us from Syria and left bases and supplies behind, not to mention Kurdish allies in the dust. Is that not applicable?

If we're viewing these types of events in a total vacuum, assuming no overlay with previous administrations (which literally every conservative is arguing), then these are far worse in comparison. I'm trying to gauge which type of requirements we're applying to these situations.

Dude, it doesn't matter the death toll. The fact remains the same, when Democrats f uck up, it's bad. When Republicans f uck up, it's ok because they've cornered the market on shallow and performative patriotism which is enough to fool millions of people. Ironic because they do more harm to America than any other terrorist organization could dream of.
