These optional transactions don’t bother me in the least. They are not pay to win. Cosmetics are lame. I just enjoy the game and don’t spend a single penny more.
@onehitta323: No need to be triggered. I know it's hard for people like you to accept that us multiplatform gamers aren't tied to plastic worshipping such as yourself. We don't even have to insult people like you do. I love using my PS4 Pro, Switch, Xbox One X and Microsoft Windows PC.
@onehitta323: I have a PS4 Pro, a Windows 10 Gaming PC, an Xbox One X and a Switch. No need for you to be triggered. Let us know when you see better looking games coming out in future that exceed RDR2 on Xbox One X, as well as Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 4, Ori and the Blind Forest, etc etc etc....the list goes on and on. Then again, maybe you only have a PS Pro, so that might explain why you were completely wrong.
@davillain-: I just think it's a test to see if there is a desire for digital only options. Just like they tested the ability to let you get a console free for committing to XBL for X number of years. If nobody wants a digital only console, they won't sell and MS won't make them. But they reduced the price by $50, literally just removed the optical drive (the eject button and other parts are still inside the box), so there is no loss to them.
Me personally, I have ZERO desire to ever have games on disk. But I think it's important to have options for everyone that DOES want disks.
