HEHE,

"Obvious" he says.....

I am an older gamer , so my reflexes are not what they used to be. Jumping from the "z" key to toggle to a new power or weapon in the number padcan be a bit of a strech (no pun intended). I am trying to figure out if I might save some sore muscles and joints with a gamepad for some of these or if the expience will be diminished by using a pad. Guess I am just an old disabled gamer! Thr programable mouse has help quite a bit, but I still find, even in some shooters, that I am not quick enough to hit all the keys required in time.

I heard in Batman that you have to do multiple key hits to do combs moves, seems like that might be a problem on a keyboard. Is that true?

LOL

Thanks!

I Just got a rumblepad for Xmas. I requested it because I am finding many newer PC games have WAY to many controls for a standard keyboard/mouse combo.

I will always use key/mouse for shooters but I am starting to wonder if this gamepad thing might catch on :)

So here is my question for you.

What games do you prefer a gamepad over a keyboard/Mouse.

I would be very interested in your opinions on the following games

1. Batman Arkam Asylum

2.Tomb Raider : Underworld

3. Grad Theft Auto IV

4. Psychonaughts

5. Mass Effect

I am playing LFD2 currently and very happy with a key/mouse control.

It was difficult for me cuz I found it boring. I' liked fallout 3 much more.

Just couldn't get into this one. I wanted too, but it just was kinda dull.

Hey guys,

Been playing Far Cry 2 (again), becuase I am waiting for my new xmas games. Figured I finished this one finally.

Problem is after about 15 mintues my frame rates drop to a studder. It does not matter what I am doing, just walking along will do it. Once it drops I have to stop the game and restart and it is normal again for a little while.

Any Help? I know this is an issue for other people too, so hopefully someone will look at me specs and know what the deals is.

Thanks!

OK , I have been flirting with buying one of these for a while. I do enjoy using mouse/keyboard for 1st person, but I have not been enjoying gmaes such as Tomb Raider:underworld/Assassins Creed/ Dead Space/Ghost busters as much, and I think its due to the controller issues getting in the way>

Some of the moves in these games require multiple button hits in a very short time, and to be quite honest, this old gamer is not as fast as I used to be!

So , let me hear your experience with these things, are they worth it? What games do you play with it? I am about to start playing GTA 4 and figure this controller might be good for that as well.

Any "bad" things about them?

What good things can you say about them versus keyboard/mouse?

Thanks guys!

A ps 2, they have gotten so inexpensive!

Games are like 5.00!

Great for the kids...

Sugestions for the kids games would be great, maybe one or two for me and the wife?
