No, Mass Effect looks like a unique take on the Sci-Fi RPG genre (which is not overcrowded), and it features tons of innovative features, not to mention the plot which GameInformer called the best plot in a video game to date.

It has deep and fresh gameplay mechanics, it has complex moral decisions, and it has a legitimate combat system that is similar to 3rd person shooters,

LO is nothing more than a re-tread of decade+ old ideas with better graphics. It looks boring as hell.

yep, its gonna be great. your gonna get a lot of itll suck type comments due to envy mostly. Theyll try to back it up with Blue Dragon. They fail to realize why it scored low at some places while not at others: it was very japaneseish. very. it was a good game besides that (ever wonder why half of these scored were 6 and 7s and the others 9s?)
