Because there is more to this world than just the good ol' USA.

Chutebox

but we have no numbers for the rest of the world... so how could we possibly know?

We have numbers for at least Japan, and if you just use those two sales numbers Ps3 is catching up by a pretty good margin. And that's without even taking Europe into the conversation.

Europe is exactly who i was wondering about, how do we know the PS3 is winning over there? (japans a given) and what about Australia?

And yet when I look out my bedroom window I only see the USA, and nothing else.

Damn... too much Facebook, I just looked for the "like" button on this comment

Why is it that i hear that the PS3 is "catching up" yet it is still consistently outsold on a monthly basis?

I was thinking about this last night... i believe that they are trying to make the splinter cell series more mainstream, can you see the average gamer today playing classic splinter cell? They would give up after the first level... games are being dumbed down whether you like it or not.

still isn't selling fast enough to overtake the 360, last month i think thee PS3 sold a mere 40-50k more than the 360, at that rate it will take a 100 months to match the 360's install base, no one will even care about the 360 or the Ps3 by then,loldelta3074

bu bu teh ps3 iz going to last ten years

Sony will still be in third by the time this gen is over :?

What's the point of another one of these threads?

iKINGBOBi

No, they won't be. Keep believing that though, it'll be more sweeter when Lems DC on these boards once PS3 does overtake 360, which won't be too long from now.

so please tell me how sony can recover from a console relaunch (slim model) and project natal, which has gotten more press coverage already than psmove
