@nicolasetespqr The only thing I will agree with you on is the graphics. I felt it was a downgrade from the original. And the screenshots at E3 vs. the reality of what we got is disturbing.
@nothingformoney @unreal849 Awesome. And soo true. But most reviewers on Gamespot will say this about CoD. Though it may only get a 9 instead of 10 because it is too misogynistic.
@robilar5500 @xx_darksoul_xx @Gelugon_baat Exactly. She is allowed to disagree with your opinions. But trying to constantly pursue you and tell you that your wrong... that is called "too much time on your hands". Your comments were fair and most people in the comment section agree with you!
Review Summary: I can't find the woman in a bright green robe standing by a huge cliff near a bonfire. I guess this game deserves a 1 for being too obscure.
@robilar5500 @Gelugon_baat You are arguing with somebody who has an agenda and you will not win. It is a waste of your time. Trust me. I've seen her rant and rave for hours attacking everyone's opinions.
Remember: common sense is not allowed here on GameSpot. The ignorant don't know what to do with logic when they see it.
@aliceengine LMAO. I can respect an opinion about not liking the difficulty or the obscurity of it. But complaining that you can't find a character wearing a bright green robe standing by a cliff near a bonfire is humorous at best, lacking in skills to play an RPG at worst.
Not everyone who plays this game thinks it is an 8 or 9. I think it deserves a 9 easily after truly playing it and investing a lot of time into the mechanics. But not everyone gets this game or likes how it chooses to go about things. I can understand that. I respect that. I disagree with this review... but I am a different person who probably likes different kinds of games.
What I can't excuse though is spending an entire paragraph of your review telling me you can't find the Emerald Herald. That I chalk up to poor skills my friend. It's an RPG. That means you leave no stone unturned. Just like Fallout... look at everything. And the fact that she is standing there a few feet from the bonfire, near a cliff, wearing a bright green robe, makes it even more humorous that you couldn't find her. You clearly were not heavily invested in the game and had not wanted to play it to begin with based on your comments at the beginning. This is Dark Souls. If you go in with a bad attitude... you are not exactly going to come out of the game brimming with enthusiasm.
This game isn't meant to hold your hand. It is meant for gamer's who don't mind not knowing everything there is to know. That is it's charm. To have everything obscured and hidden just below the surface. You are tasked with discovering it. You missed the entire point of the game. Alas... why I said... it is not meant for everyone.
