Anyway hardcore is someone who played Monkey Island in 1991 or who started playing Civilization within the first two games. Not someone who makes his own Halo stuff out of cardboard. It's not Killzone and Halo are hardcore, they're just incredibly lame.

This is astrocreep. Hardcore is a loose term with gamers, if there was any way I'd describe NMH it'd be a bad game with great box art.

Nothing an ever touch the old sonics. However, i suggest you try Sonic and the Secret Rings. Once you get past the terrible chessiness of it all, you'll find the core gameplay to be quite fun.
