Can we just point out the Entertainment Weekly reviewer watched episode 1, some of episode 2. Then skipped to episode 5 or 6, and never finished after that.
I could understand just stopping a series you didnt like...... but not if its your job to review it.
You are kinda getting paid to sit through it and then give your opinions on what you watched... Good or Bad.
She is mad because this movie will most likely crush the reboot.
The reboot was ok to waste some time at home, but I would have been pissed to see that in the theaters and paid all that money for a ticket. Having it not be a direct sequel didnt feel right. I grew up with the Ghost Busters, and my brain could not comprehend a different way they were formed.
@sbargovox3: Here is the thing with the lootbox system in games. I dont know how it works for Rocket league, this is just my take on lootboxes in general.
The lootbox system was like a raffle system. You purchase small chances to win the big prize, and there are smaller prizes that can be won if you dont get the big prize.
The people running the raffle arent losing money on the raffle prizes since they are making more money selling lots of those smaller chances compared to the cost of the big prize.
But that is gambling, and some places dont allow that, so now you dont get to buy those smaller chances. You want the big prize. You are buying it at cost.
These Devs are not going to replace the revenue lootboxes generated with a low price purchase option for the "big prize". They most likely crunched the numbers and figured out how much the average consumer spent on lootboxes and passed that costs down to single purchases.
