My Life Is So Complicated...

Actually, it's not. I get up and go to school then I come home and do homework and clean my house. Then I watch TV and go to sleep.

But, I just had to say, JSR lives on!!! I caught Without A Trace last night. I haven't watched all the episodes this season and had planned to watch all the episodes over the month long break but didn't get around to it. But I watched it last night and JSR lives on! (If you don't watch the show, just ignore that last paragraph.)

On the other hand my shipper hopes died today. Jennifer Morrison and Jesses Spencer are engaged. Can we say the death of House and Cameron? Maybe, but it still makes me nervous. Wait a second, let me rephrase that. If they were engaged to anybody else that wasn't on the show, I would be like the shipping still lives. But since they're on the show together then forget every theory about House and Cameron hooking up.

Yes, you can ignore all that I have typed here today because none of it matters in the real world.

Saturday Is A Good Day For Sports...

Okay, I love my Ducks again. We bet #1 ranked UCLA in the last 13.4 seconds of the game yesterday.

Then the Seattle Seahawks won. Yippie.

But my dog ran away. I really hope he comes back. I went and looked for an hour and then I waited for a little while and looked again. I drove all over. I'm going to call the pound tomorrow and see if someone dropped him off. I normally wouldn't worry but we had taken his tags off to change them and hadn't put the new ones on yet.

I start school again tomorrow and I only have one class. I won't have as much free time to hang out here.

I'm Going To Rip Someone Heads Off...

I'm very passionate about my sports teams and the UO Ducks happen to be one of them.

Anyway, I'm going to rip off someone's head because the UO Men Basketball team just lost by two points. There goes the perfect season. We have to beat UCLA this Saturday or else it all goes down the drain.

I'm going to go scream into a pillow.

Then on CSI. I could've hit Grissom over the head. He should have grabbed her and kissed her. But it's good to know that the other CSI's notice that he might have a girlfriend (Points at Sara).

And then they kill a character off Shark. Ah!

The only good thing was My Name Is Earl. Very funny episode.

Part 1

First off, I totally scored this Christmas. I got a new jacket, Bones Season 1 DVD Set, and a bunch of other stuff.
Second, I'm a total klutz. I hurt myself five times in two days.
Third, I have writers block and I really want to finish my fanfic but the words just aren't there.

I'm finally going to write about my road trip to California. I'm going to be brutally honest because I don't know how else to tell this story. However, if my friends ever read this they will no longer be my friends.

This is the whole story from begging to end. It is long and I've changed the names to protect the innocent.

Me and my friend both like the Price Is Right and had heard that Bob Barker is retiring in June. We thought it would be a good idea to drive down there to get in and see the show. My friend's name is Jane. Jane, John (Jane's boyfriend), and I all work together. Jane said that she would talk John into going so that we could split the costs. I thought that's fine because I like John. I've know him longer than Jane. Jane said that her mom could drive us down to LA where her brother and sister live and that we could stay there. I thought that's great because it'll save us a lot of money. Jane did warn me that her brother was weird like her. I said that was no problem because she's really not that bad. The original plan was to drive down to LA on Saturday and then drive right back after the taping on Tuesday.

But then plans go changed. Her mom lives 150 miles south of us. We had planned on driving down there really early on Saturday in my car but now we had to drive down there on Friday night so we could leave really early from there. That was no problem with me except I'd never driven down there and it's not the easiest place to drive at anytime. But the drive went perfectly fine. There was no traffic or rain. I did like 80 the whole way down.

Anyway we got Jane's mom's house and it was scary. She has to be the worst pack rat on the planet. The house is filled with junk. Plastic crap from the claw machines and all this really bad home made jeweler from Wal-Mart. Jane's mom doesn't even look like her. I was really confused but she was nice. The house was really dirty. You could see the dust balls in the corners. In the morning we were supposed to leave at 7 am and I was fine with that.

I got up at 6 am so I could all ready. I was ready to go by 7 am but Jane and John weren't even up. Jane's mom, who'll I'll name Joy, was cooking all these cookies. We didn't end up leaving until 10:30 am. I have this huge pet peeve about being on time but I was holding it together. I just kept telling myself that the taping wasn't until Tuesday and as long as I got in I'd be okay. The van we drove down is this huge GMC Gladiator. It was huge and a gas guzzler. Joy drives like a maniac. Really. We had to go over this pass that's not very fun to take. I mean it's really bad but she took it doing 80 and flashing her headlights and honking the horn if people were going to slow in the fast lane. I thought that I'd get shot. I called my mom from time to time to inform her that this woman was crazy and to go ahead and sue if I was in a car accident. It was a long drive. Half way down, I was informed that no, Jane's sister and brother don't live in LA, but in San Bernardino. Which I also come to find out is the ghetto of the whole area. I've been to LA once and I didn't like it. But after this trip I'm never going back unless I'm going to be on Jeopardy. We didn't get to their house until mid-night. And I was thankful to land on solid ground.

But I come to find out that 7 people are staying a 2 bedroom apartment with two dogs. I just about jumped back in the van to drive myself back. This apartment was even worse than the house and didn't even have towels to take a shower with. Me and John both looked at each other like "Oh My God, what did we get into?" Me, Jane, and John all ended up crashing in the same room with no door. We slept until Noon on Sunday. We ended up eating Burger King for breakfast and IHOP for dinner. Sunday was pretty much a bust because we spent it just sitting around watching TV. Jane's sister has the most annoying child ever. I almost yelled at him to shut up but then I remember that it could be much worse. I could be out on the street in the middle of LA with nowhere to go.

Okay, this the first post in a series.

Merry Christmas!

Today's Christmas Eve and I have so much to do. But being the procrastinator that I am, I've gone and waited until the last minute and I'm here.

In three different posts I've said that I was going type up my adventures to California but I haven't done it yet. I'm lazy and I've been trying to get my room clean for the last three days. But I promise that in the next week I'll have everything typed up.

On a cheery note, my brother is now an NCIS fan. I converted him. He watched Seasons 1 and 2 straight through. Now he wants to watch Season 3 and keep tell him that the DVDs aren't out yet or else I would have them. But as soon as they do come out him and I will watch them together.

Yippie!!!

I finally made it to Level 9.

I'm going to type up the entire adventure to California really soon and then I'll post it.

A Long, Long Trip...

I left last Friday for my road trip to California. Two of my friends and me decided that we wanted to see Bob Barker on The Price Is Right before he retires in June.  It's a really long story so I don't know if anybody wants to hear it.

But if you do, post a reply and I'll type up the whole ordeal. It was a crazy trip.

And I'm still waiting to get to Level 9.

Roadtrip!!!

Alright, after tomorrow I will not be on the net for at least five days. I think I might experience withdrawal symptoms.

I'm taking a road trip to California with a couple of my coworkers/friends. We're going to The Price Is Right and Six Flags, but mainly to see Bob Barker before he retires.

Just thought I'd let everybody know that I'll won't be responding to any posts after Friday until Thursday or next Friday. I'm not sure when I'll be getting home.

They should make buying things on the internet really hard. I think I might spend all my money on buying songs from iTunes.

Discovering New Shows Is Fun...

In the absence of Lost, I've started watching other shows on Wednesday. I've discovered Bones on Fox. The show has edgy humor and good characters with a hot leading man. I never watched Angel but I saw a few commercials and I knew that David Boreanaz was hot but now I actually watch his show. I discovered Criminal Minds over the summer and I had been taping it while Lost was on but now I watch it when it airs. This week I found out that I can watch some TV shows on CBS.com or ABC.com. I watched Shark that I missed last week and then I went to watch an episode of Grey’s Anatomy that I missed and it wasn’t there. I was like “What’s the purpose of the download, if I can’t see the episode I want. I’ll just go download it from somewhere else.” That was my conversation with my computer I had.

I’m still procrastinating on writing my paper and other projects and tomorrow is the end of Dead Week and the start of Finals. I’m so excited. Yeah, right. That would be me writing sarcasm.

Okay, I’m going to go and read Joseph Kosuth and his article on Conceptual Art, even though I could care less. I also have to type up all this stuff for extra credit. But here it goes.

Wal-Mart Is So Fun...

I'm the biggest dork on the planet.

Even though yesterday was Thanksgiving, my family decided to wait until today to have turkey and our family to get together. Why, you might ask? Well, today was the Civil War between the University of Oregon and Oregon State University. We're all U of O fans. We all bleed green and yellow. But we lost by two points. It was a great game. Yesterday though, Joey Harrington, who played for U of O and now, plays for the Miami Dolphins won yesterday against his former team, the Detroit Lions. That was a great win.

Okay, on to the story of why I'm the biggest dork on the planet.

So, we hadn't gone shopping until yesterday and we went to Wal-Mart at 4 P.M. The store was empty and had one turkey left.  They just installed new security cameras with TVs that you can see yourself in. Being the child trapped in my 20 year body, I was making faces and clapping my hands behind my back. It was funny and my mom made the comment that no wonder everybody thinks I'm 13. Then I rode a bike around the store. My mom wasn't too happy at that one.

But the best part was that I basically learned how to skateboard in Wal-Mart. I wouldn't be able to drop into a bowl but I've always wanted to skate between classes. I’m thinking about buying a skateboard to see if I could do it. I’ll face plant and knock my teeth in. That would be bad since I was in braces on and off for five years. But if I do and if it looks bad, I’ll post a picture for everybody.

Just thought I'd share that.
