It's because they get richer by having studio's pay to have there music included on the game to boost CD sales. they dont pick this music because it's good. if its an alright song, fine, if it sucks.... to bad for us EA still gets paid.

I got to agree with Vanhulan , just like everybody feared, now that EA has exclusive rights , we can all look forward to 50$ and on 360 + PS3 60$ roster updates. and I lay the blame on the feet of all those maddenphiles , who for the past few years have laid out $$ for what was clearly the inferior product too 2K's games.

superstar - sloppy, pointless, vision cone - will be gone next year, truck stick - had it last year on 2K5, precision passing - (again) had it last year on 2K5, more Tony Bruno show - leave it to EA to give us more of what everybody hated

for the time you waste in 'superstar mode' you could update your rosters and save 50$

As a Franchise player 95% of the time , I could spend 10$ on madden 05 and except for rosters and the passing cone, I've got the EXACT SAME GAME!!! WTF. I'll get Madden on PS3 until then EA can con somebody else out of 50$

the usaul generic crap EA traks stuff, for a company with so much money to throw around youd think theyd get some better stuff for thier best selling game, but thats what big business does appeal to the lowest common denominator.
