Here's some reasons why C&C 3 pwns hard.
1. It's C&C.
2. Graphics are sick and better than any other RTS, and even non RTS. C&C3 graphics can easily keep up with any other games graphics out there.
3. IMO online seeing the victorious sign at the end and knowing that you've just totally completely and utterly pwnt your opponent is worth buying the game.
4. It's C&C.
5. The micro is excellent in this game. Fantastic micro the way the units are managed works really well and smooth. Plus you can go into the hotkeys and soup up a wicked custom hotkey layout to further the games micro-ability.
6. If you dig into the whole story line of the C&C thing, then you'll really like this game. The storyline is a cliff hanger, but it's confirmed that it is going to be continued in the expansion Kane's Wrath so don't fret guildies.
7. GDI vs. NOD was getting a bit old, so they put in a really shweet new group called the Scrin. Not only does this really improve gameplay considerably since there are now 3 playable factions instead of two, it really helped the storyline of the game. The whole "Nod hates GDI, GDI hates Nod, they fight a lot" thing was getting a bit old.
8. For me, the first RTS that required exceptional skill in strategies was Zero Hour. I mean it's called real-time-STRATEGY no a real-time-buy-so-many-tanks-your-opponent-can't-breath. In C&C 3 the requirement of strategies instead of building the most units is continued. The players have abilities very similar to general powers in C&C generals and ZH. This really adds to the gameplay.
9. Online play is shweetness. It has nice ladder ranking so you'll rise in global rank of how good you are depending on games played and how well you did in those games played.
10. It's C&C.
A lot of people were like I hope it doesn't lick balls how can it be as good as Zero Hour? Well IMO it is.
the only thing i don't like about it is that it's made by EA, and ea is a bunch of 5h17less noobz with no bawlz, therefore support royall sucks which can be a pain. still, definately worth getting.
