They're developing their own Steam competitor, and undoubtedly once that becomes available they'll no longer provide access to the majority of their games through Steam because they want the business on their end. If it debuts before Battlefield 3 is released, I'll be very surprised if Battlefield 3 is even available on Steam at all.

Being buried is actually more scary. To even think you rot, it's disgusting. At least with cremation, you can be portable, your family will carry you everywhere and at least you'll be freed from the container (pot, Tupperware, vase) graciously and in your favourite place, if you left a will or told your relatives about it.

Most enemies are slow and can be easily avoided. Avoid fighting as much as you can. And no, it doesn't ruin the experience. It's a survival-horror game so running away from enemies is to be expected :)

Rpime example of this, is in Dino Crisis. Hell, I found myself with a lot of ammo, just by avoiding the Dinos. Besides, you have to avoid them, because next time you kill one it respawns. I never finished Dino Crisis until yesterday and had the game for 10 years :?

Shame that Sony, didn't keep the PS2 compatibility. I was playing PS1 games, on the PS3 and it's either too blocky or too blurry. They could've been inspired by emulators and put some nice filtering and AA.
Have to agree that Backwards Compatibility is slowly disappearing, but it's more convenient for the costs of production. (as other posters wrote here)

I love the Steam Summer Sale. It's like a holiday, then you have to go to school and ask your teacher when the next holiday is. :P
