The mainstream public/casuals are fickle. Sure, they're all over Wii/DS now, but you'd have to be foolish to think that it'll last forever. It might take another generation, it might take two, but eventually the mainstream appeal of Nintendo will wear off again, just like it did in the mid-90's.

I have seen more fickleness among so-called "hardcore" gamers in System Wars than I have ever seen among "casual" gamers and the general public in my whole life. Look at the "hype" threads and the "flop" threads to see the hardcore fickleness in action.
To JodyR, the administrators, and other concerned parties:
Several days ago, I have reported numerous people on the System Wars forum for making ignorant and anti-Islamic comments due to the controversy over Quranic lyrics found in LittleBigPlanet. Everytime there is a thread on sales charts in Japan, I report every post that makes culturally-ignorant or outright racist comments on the Japanese, such as the common "the Japanese have bad tastes in gaming" or the ignorant claim that the Japanese are xenophobic. Lastly, I have to report some posters who made outright sexist remarks towards a female game reviewer who gave a surprisingly positive score to Wii Music.
Even though people are moderated by point loss or suspensions, it seem some do not get it that racist, sexist, and anti-religious comments are against the TOS. May I suggest a zero tolerance on these abuses and impose an automatic seven-day suspension, the same zero tolerance towards flaming in System Wars?
There is no point for Nintendo America and its overseas affliates to advertise a handheld system that has yet to receive a release date. Also, with the great sales of the DS Lite outside of Japan, there is no hurry to advertise the DSi until the DS Lite begins to see significant decreasing sales.
We will have to wait until early next year or next June to see a domestic release.
Seriously though, what the heck is "n" doing with all that cash they must be getting. ?

Perhaps Nintendo is builting the console version of this:
That is fairly common legal speak. Anyone who thought that they would "own" what they create in LBP was fooling themselves. SpruceCaboose
This has happened already in some MMORPGs where there were concerns that people were selling what they owned in the game. eBay a few years ago banned auctions regarding items found in MMORPGs.
Anyway, to be on-topic, I am somewhat surprised that LittleBigPlanet scored 9.0. I predicted days before the GameSpot review that it will score 9.5.
