720p 60fps 4xMSAA is still impressive compared to the 360's sub HD line up.

Even Forza 3 can only run 720p 60fps 2xMSAA right?

Will never happen......

Gears of War requires to much movement. Wall bouncing, taking cover, running, rolling......way to advanced for dis-Kinnect

I'm highly skeptical of any cheapo method. Don't get me wrong, if it could offer 4x AA results for less performance; why would I complain? But more often than not there are compromises, people just don't like to recognise them; because they are inconvenient for SW arguments.

If it was accessible to me I'd test it myself, but right now it isn't.

ChubbyGuy40

It wasn't really an argument, All systems can now use it with the new 6xxx series of cards. Well, the wii can't use it but you get the point. I see no problems with MLAA.

The last examples of what I saw MLAA doing made the games look blurry. I'd rather have no AA than this MLAA stuff.

You're in denial.

MLAA is waay better than no AA and you know it. And No it doesnt make the image blurry because it only blur the edges, not the whole image or textures

GT5 is not 1080p and its not 60fps.

Fizzman

It is 60fps, you need some gaming education

Im gonna laugh when digital foundry proves otherwise

So a game must be at 60fps at all time without dropping a single frame? If that's the case, then COD is not a 60fps game.......Then consoles have no 60fps according to your case

Didn't PS3 gamers claim God of War 3 was going to be 1080p 60fps? And it was neither.

I'm not saying there is no possibility the game would meet that, it could if it made enough sacrifices, but PS3 gamers have been wrong about their exclusives in the past.

AnnoyedDragon

No PS3 fanboys only claim GOW3 as 1080p 60fps because cory or jaff said it was gonna be 1080p before the development even started on the game.

[QUOTE="lhughey"] Wrong. High def doesnt take that much space. And there are a couple of native 1080p Xbox games. gamecubepad

Ofcourse the 360 has a couple 1080p games. BUT none with 2xMSAA 60fps, online multiplayer

It has already been stated many times that GT5 is not true 1080p. It doesn't maintain a perfect 60fps, and VT3 is true 1080p, 2xAA, and 60fps on both 360/PS3.

Why talk about Alan Wake? FM3 is an incredible looking game and runs 720p, 2xAA, and 60fps.

GT5 is not true 60fps because it can drop to 55fps at times........BUT COD is true 60fps because it can drop to 30fps at times ???
