Switch Owner here and I must admit the left joycon losing connection intermittently is very frustrating. I have no aquariums and I sit from 8 feet from my console and TV. This is the only product I have that has this issue. Works perfectly when attached to the console(Played for a few hours) but disconnecting them is another thing. The Right joycon works flawlessly but the Left just stops working. I applied the day 1 patch and still have the issue.
I hope that Nintendo fixes this soon or else I'll be returning mine. I don't want to be forced to buy the Pro Controller because of this. How this escaped QA is beyond all comprehension, especially in 2017.
@ltjohnnyrico: Close range is no problem but 1 shot kills at 20 meters is over exagerated. If you play a lot of TDM and Domination like I do, you will notice a lot of people complaining of this. It definitely is OP.
4k Gaming now is definitely possible. I recently purchased 2 Nvidia Geforce1080's in SLI in my Gaming PC and I'm presently doing easily 80-90 FPS on my 4k monitor in games such as battlefield4 and Crisis3 on Ultra Settings. Yes both cards cost me close to 1600$ apart from the rest of my rig but today 4k is definitely possible.
But I'm not buying into MS propaganda saying that they will deliver 4k gaming at 60hz because the power alone that the GPU(s) need is a hell of a lot. Is it possible? Probably, but the graphic settings will be much lower to keep that 4k resolution possible and the memory will have to be at least 3-4GB alone for the GPU with GDDR5 speeds. Which will probably skyrocket the price of the console.
