Fact of the matter is, your teacher is ingnorant and is refusing to look at your side of the story. You are keeping an open mind and looking at her side, but she is refusing to look at your side.

Violent games, is that all, is that the end of the world? All she is doing is in her own way brain washing you. All it is is propoganda, say it enough, and you start to believe.

You can join the boy scouts and at  young age learn how to shoot a rifle, but playing video games, NO,NO,NO, that is bad. I don't see how Burnout will make me go get a gun and start shooting people. I'm sitti ng on my couch, and playing a game. I have enough sence to realize that it's only a game.

I bet your teacher watchs soap oprah's everyday. Ask her if she scts out everything she sees. Just by watching a TV show, does that make her a slut or a whore?

So I have no idea where she gets the connection from "violent video games" to real life?

So I just built a gaming machine:

evga 680i mobo; e6600 core 2 duo; 2gb XMS Dominator 1066mhz w/DHX; evga 8800gts; 4ms 19"widescreen lcd; Windows Vista 64bit home premium

And I just found the army is deploying me after I get back from basic later this year.

Does anyone know if I'm going to get to play crysis or any other DX10 title before I ship off around April-May or die on some stupid ass terrorist sea[run around with rifles, looking nothing like your surroundings]rch and destroy mission?

I keep up on all news relating to new releases, but i was hoping someone out there is a tester or dev that would know more than the media.

Folks, I would ask if you don't mind please include the price your computer cost you. You know, so if someone wants to buy one similar or he same, they at least have an estimate on what they're looking for.

If you custom built one, just estimate to the best of your knowledge.
