Was looking into getting a new TV the LG 42LH40 i loved the specs to it and the size is just great. But I have been told that using a LG tv with HDMI cables and a playstation 3 had issues working together. I have also been reading different forum post online about it. Does anyone know what caused it and if it was ever fixed? I would hate to pay out a lot of cash for a tv that wont work for the sole perpous im buying it for and that is to run my PS3 on.

I do like the idea of 3D games but also feel thay wont be as big of hit as some people think. I do give props to sony for being the first ones to bring this idea forth in the consol area but I just dont think it will make a big hit as some would think. It goes along with motion controls in my oppinion. I just pray split screen coop never dies since I never do online thing with my system. I like split screen side by side play not just for the entertainment but honestly no better way to enjoy a victory than being inches from your opponets facing trash talking. Till said person kicks you in the crotch then well all hits the fan and it turns into a real fight night lol.

Basically, he's just saying that they're putting the tech out there in a way that will make it hard to pass up. He's assuming that once we get a look at it it'll be hard to refuse. He's probably right, too. As bad a game as Avatar was it was SOOOOO amazing to play in 3D. TheEldestGod

Me I would so i pray it is always an option. I mean 3D gaming is nice but till I can grab a 3D tv for about the price of my recent bought HD tv im not sure ill be on the band wagon. And the amount spent on it was about $600 for a 120 Hz 32 inch full 1080p tv with 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 4ms responce time i think it was a sweet deal. And do not want to have to dump out more cash so fast for yet another TV.

Does this sound like Sony is saying bend over and take 3D like it or not? To me it does but I am guessing it can be taken in a lot of ways. The last sentence in that paragraph is what has me asking that question. Would love opinions on it. "It also goes back to the promise that [SCEA CEO] Jack [Tretton] made a few years ago about a future proof box, and the fact that 3D TVs are taking hold globally, not just from Sony, but from other manufacturers, and here we are sitting here basically saying, 'I told you so.' You know, a quick software update and now your PS3 can play movies in 3D and you can experience games in 3D. So, it's a distinct strategy that we've chosen to take to be on the bleeding edge and drive the market into these new experiences. So we're not worried about quick adoption rate. We're driving people to adopt period."

Call them and see what they say. All the ones local to me are always helpful to check and look them up. But if you want some cash check a local FYE they usually pay more for stuff like that. At least the one close to me does.

In some ways I think if naruto bleach and some other big name animes was made into games and done right not just crap on a disk to sell the name. And was say exclusive to ether sony or microsoft that sells on that system would go up at least 5 -10% there is a ton of anime fanatics out there. Honestly I would love to see a well done naruto RPG using the legend of dragoon fighting style each correct timed button press would be the same as doing one of the hand seals to preform a jutsu of some sort or just for the physical fighting alone as well. *i know it was off subject but I wanted to throw it out there *. But take a huge named anime like bleach make it into a well done 2 player fighter with story mode aka naruto uns 2 and make sure it was done right and I don't think a copy would be able to be found easy on launch day. I think it would sell fast given the fallowing. And I would like to end this with another question who would love to see legend of dragoon full remade ground up using all of the PS3's ability's and power? Add in coop play maybe even some online play sony would make some big money from that.

You guys do realise that the psp and ps3 are region free on the games right so even if sega does a bleach game in japan you would be able to play that here in the states

This is true but I can't understand or read Japanese.

[QUOTE="zangetsu1983"][QUOTE="FlamesOfGrey"]Thread Starter and everyone else. There will not be any Bleach games on Sony systems in America. Sega owns the right to publish Bleach games in the U.S. and they currently only have a contract with Nintendo. No one knows if the contract prevents Sega from publishing the Bleach games on Sonys systems or if Sony and Sega just have not come to an agreement on the terms but as of now it won't happen. If a Bleach game does release on the PS3 it will stay in Japan.FlamesOfGrey
Well that just sucks. I think it would make a killing in America. Maybe that is just me idk.

I doubt it the Bleach games on Nintendo systems don't make a killing and they have the biggest userbase (3 on DS and 1 on Wii in America so far). Bleach isn't as popular as Naruto.

To some no. You list 2 systems with not so much horse power to maybe give people the game they feel they deserve. The wii bleach game was ok but the controls seemed so bland and boring to me. I think if a company like Sony was to make one and a good one and allow it to release state side on the PS3 or PSP then the game would sell. I am not pro Sony Microsoft could do one on the X-BOX360 and if it was done right I think it would also sell big stateside. I am not by far badmouth Nintendo or the wii and or DS but just giving my opinion that maybe just maybe people just did not see those games worthy of being a bleach games or just did not feel they was done right . And by people I mean the die hard bleach fans out there. In all honesty I would forget about a bleach game for PS3 if we could get a built from ground up remake of FF7. We have seen the tech demo we know it is possible so why do they teas us so.

[QUOTE="zangetsu1983"][QUOTE="Business_Fun"]

So long as Gin Ichimaru is given the power he so rightly deserves I'll give it a look. Shoot 'em dead!

Business_Fun

what do you think he deserves toss out some ideas if you gottem would love to hear them.

The man is just - killer cool. I mean, someone with a sword that small has to know what he's doing :) I'm waiting for the day when his bankai is finally revealed in all it's soul-skewering glory.

From a gaming perspective the two DS titles have it down pretty well - quick attacks up close before pulling back to a distance and letting Shinso really ruin the opposition's day.

Cool I just don't know why Sony wont have on in America they are so many games of it on psp and ps2 in japan but none in USA on Sony system
