A couple friends and I were going to buy this game tomorrow mainly for the split screen, but after reading that it doesn't offer it I'll wait till its about 19.99 before I consider purchasing it.
Whatever happened to this feature? I remember hearing about this before the PS3 was released and was very excited about it. I recently purchased a PS3 and haven't seen anything in the manual.
Did this feature fall by the wayside? Shame if it did!

I don't think he is trying to be racist, but pointing out in a crude way that the taste of American gamers and Japanese gamers differ. Currently the majority of 360 games appeal more to a Western audience, hence the lack of success in Japan. Hopefully, this will begin to change as more RPGs come out.
I think we'll all be saying next gen for another year or so. The ps2 has such market penetration that for many people it will remain current gen for a bit longer.
I've got a 360 and a Ps3. At the moment the 360 is better simply due to it's superior game library,but I'm playing the PS3 more. Why? I did not have a PS2 and I've bought several fun used PS2 games. I'm a huge fan of backwards compatibility now, earlier I didn't give a hoot about it. I hope the PS3 picks up steam, it'd be better for all of us if there was more intense competition. As for the Wii, if I can ever find one I'd love to buy it!!
i was at best buy the other day and they had 22 (yes i counted) PS3s (the $600 no $500). that is not the only place i have seen ps3s stacked up so i dont think its really a transit issue.Goeben
I was at Best Buy and Gamestop today saw two huge stacks of them at Best Buy and Gamestop said they had several in stock. At both stores the employees mentioned there was not high demand for the PS3 anymore, which is surprising simply because I thought people would continue to gobble it up for another month or so. Hopefully, the PS3 picks up steam sometime soon!

Maybe you should read the reviews and find out. Better graphics, rumble, achivements, more online options etc rumble is the stupidest thign ever invented, your telling me you get closer to the game experience when your guy gets shot in the head or tackled and the controll pad shakes alittle? gimem a break, rumble is the biggest gimmick ever created. its only useful in a force feed back situation with strearign wheels and flight sticks. What a dumb comment. Clearly, the feature is popular by many gamers and become an expected part of the gaming experience. It won't keep me from buying the PS3, but it does take away from the experience a little bit since I expect it.
Yeah it's a great feeling! I'm downloading the demo for Resistance, not sure if I want to buy it yet mainly because I play quite a bit of Gears of War. So while that downloads and the controller charges, I'm on my way to Best Buy to pick up NBA2k7.
