@rolento25: Meh. not everything has to be Oscar Bait. Marvel movies obviously aren't great (save for 1 or 2), but they aren't crap either. Decent middle ground pop corn flicks. Surely better than Transformers or crappy YA novel spam.

I'm comparing it to network tv. In which case absolutely, without question it is quality compared to CW or FOX trash.

This is literally like comparing an AAA flagship title to an AA Indy game. Better CGI, better acting, better editing, better directing. Even some of the most mediocre HBO stuff makes network tv shlock seem like unwatchable filth.

Heck even in terms of budget the analogy holds.

@jeremyalexander: I wouldn't say this is their first major mis-step. Iron man 2 and Thor 2 were pretty bad IMO. Much worse than this.
