It is a crazy industry. Sure, if I was Sony, I wouldn't have dropped a Slim(the ps4 is small enough), and then they dropped such an aesthetically displeasing looking PS4s. Now, PSVR has come out, and yes I own one, and NO, this thing is NOT anything that Xbox is gonna need to compete with(they were smart on that), simply because I can almost fully assure you, PSVR is the most unlikely candidate PlayStation has fighting in the ring. Unfortunately, I think the Vita may have a brighter future than this PSVR. But, Look at Nintendo, they did what I would do. Don't make ANYTHING, and just sit on your 20 Billion or so. But now, I am not even sure if even a large minority of gamers take Nintendo serious anymore(as a home console authority)Hollar my 5million boneheads! But I will FULLY assure you, the Scorpio is the reason Xbox is 'somewhat' viable again. Truly a myth, consumers are such suckers for a good dream. But let's face it, console gaming as we know it is starting a quick path towards flushing down the shitter. the way things are going, in a few years, we will be buying a new console every 6 months? That simply will not gonna work. Sigh, glad I am only gamer, and not a slave to the industry financially.
Now, just downgrade it a little more, make it a little blurry(just enough to give you a headache), spin around in circles until you feel like vomiting, and VOILA...! PSVR!
@normanislost: It isn't that they shouldn't be able to do as they please. It is more that we should all be getting 'the best of the best' all day long. Decade old games that were never that 'great' to start with, they just shouldn't be wasting not the gamer's time, but that precious time that the game builders are blowing.
Man, so many gamers are out there playing so many games that just aren't all that great. Someone needs to start a gamer's union, we could unite, and only fund top quality entertainment(like mafia 3, and their cute little review embargo, conveniently giving reviewers the game on a Friday, knowing they'd be SO excited to work, because we all know how much we love to start a nice big project on a Friday into the weekend)
I do not understand how people play this game for much more than 20-30hrs. I mean, we had 5-6 players, started a full system of mages, and tanks and everything ya need for raiding. Wasn't even that much fun with a bunch of friends. The game scores around a 7(which is good), and it is a 'good' game(just barely). But great? Man, this game is SOOOO bland.
