Is it just me or has the Epic Store lead to more free games lately across more clients?

I grabbed Endless Space, Super Meatboy, The Jackbox Party Pack, Axiom Verg (incoming), Subnutica, with supposedly more free games yet to come from Epic. I'm assuming this is an attempt to draw in more consumers to their platform from Steam if anything to just look at the very least. I can't remember the last time grabbing so many free games.

Across multiple forums and on Facebook I've seen many people complain about their games being spread across a few different clients, but in my books competition is always better from a consumer standpoint.

Super Mario Brothers 3, after playing on my old 386 computer, and coming from Super Mario Brothers 1 and 2, everything looked so sharp.

Gaming PC can mean anything, I just refurbished a Dell Inspiron running XP, it is a duel core at 2.00 ghz with 1 gb of ram, with capacity to go up to four. I'm putting in an Radeon HD 4850. It allows me to play a lot of great games. I picked up Command and Conquer The first decade, Starwars Repulic Commando, Beyond Good vs Evil, Morrowind, Oblivion, Diablo 1/2 + Expansions, Starcraft + Expansion, Warcraft 1/2/3 + expansion, Half-Life 1/2, Baulder's Gate 2, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Sim City, Sin, No One Lives Forever plus a ton of old PC games you could pick up used at max $5 and this is all physical copies. This could be considered PC gaming. I know what you mean but there are tons of great games that aren't graphic pushing but still very fun. In my opinion this is one of the huge pluses of PC gaming, our backwards compatibility blows everything else out of the water. PC gaming is pretty much what you want to make it and that is the big edge it has over consoles besides better graphics and specs (of course at a higher cost), and we actually have more exclusives, and before people rush in and say that our exclusives suck, it is literally a matter of preference, I enjoyed a lot of the Sony exclusives but I would hardly call them my personal favorite games.

I went off on a ramble, but over all I think it makes more sense to just invest into a better PC over consoles

This may be the dumbest question I have ever seen on the forums. Microsoft doesn't have to and shouldn't pander to groups of any kind. We are gamers, it doesn't matter if we are straight, part of the LGBTQ+ community, our skin colour doesn't matter. None of it matters we are gamers first and foremost and that is what I care about.

I just started playing an exclusive X1 title called Super Lucky's Tale, so far it seems pretty fun, there are some secrets that I found already and I look forward to seeing what other secrets they have scattered about. There are jumps that remind me of Super Mario Brothers 3 and letters to find to spell out Lucky but I don't know what it does yet because I haven't been able to find them all or even how to collect some of the ones I did find. Even the hidden spots you find sometimes require you to solve a puzzle at that phase. I haven't played it long but it was a $10 pickup. I can't really put out a reccomendation yet, but so far I've had fun and it was only $10.

You should check out some of the Tech guys on youtube. It's crazy but interesting if you are into science and tech stuff. I ususally have no idea what they are talking about unless i find a dude like Neil Degrasse Tyson who can break it down for us simpletons. lol. Neil does not do these but there are few dudes I can recommend if you are interested.

Honestly I heard from a dude they will be able to enhance future Xbox consoles and use them as computing power even while powered off for other people and things.(have you heard of the internet of things? MS has been investing heavy into this for years) It's crazy, They could potentially run well over 100 fps!

They have actually been doing this for chess for quite awhile, you can check out a program called LCZero where people have been sharing their computer resources to improve the ability of this specific engine to play chess

This question is quite complex and it leads to a lot of other questions.

What would happen to companies like Blizzard if Activision went under? Would Blizzard try to get out like Bungie did? What about Vinvendi? They own around 5% of their company with Activision-Blizzard owning the rest.
Vinvendi owns a company called Gameloft, that company makes the Ashphalt series, which it gained when it started acquiring Ubisoft shares. If one company goes under it can lead to a domino affect. It's nice to think of a company going under but we could see entire IPs destroyed, they can be bought up by other companies such as TQH acquring a chunk of Relic's IPs and doing good by them but other companies that pick up our favorite IPs can also destroy them.

Easily Nintendo: Amiibos, Labo, and Nintendo Online which is barely up to Wii standards let alone PS2 standards.

Amiibos are worse than DLC. They want $10 per character to add some costume to a game. The only good thing is they are decent quality.

In a few years maybe collect a full set and they look cool on a shelf. I'm doing this for all the Disney Infinity characters
