There was this garage sale in my neighborhood where an entire subdivision had one huge sale. Over 100 garage sales. Went in thinking I would have to get lucky at some point, came out with two goshdang Dreamcast sports titles (Blitz and Virtua Tennis). So yeah, I gave up on those now :P

Ahem... well you see... uh *sweats* Well, I may or may not have a backlog of over 100 games. I may or may not have gone absolutely buck wild at a flee market. It is not my place to disclose this information. But it still might maybe definitely be true. I think >__>

Basketball: I've always liked NBA Jam 99, or NBA Hangtime is a ton of fun, not the most realistic, but definitely the most fun.

Football: Like most others have said, NFL Blitz is the way to go.

Hockey: Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey 98 or NHL 99, NHL is more of a sim obviously, WG 3D is more arcadey.

Baseball: Ken Griffey Jr's Slugfest

Mario Golf and Mario Tennis are also amazingly fun games to play.

I just got the controller for this game, $20 at a flea market. It didn't come with any foot pedals, but at the time I didn't know it was supposed to come with foot pedals either, which brings me to my question: can I use other Xbox foot pedals with the Steel Battalion controller, or do they have to be official brand? Also, does anybody know where I can buy an extra pair of foot pedals? I've already checked ebay, and haven't found anything. Thanks for your time and help :)

That's weird, I got my spare N64 in the exact same way, with the exact same accessories, and the exact same condition. I got Donkey Kong 64 with it.

[QUOTE="xAllisonx"]One store that I'm sure not very many gamers go to, to make their video game purchases is K-Mart. Believe it or not, they actually have some incredible bargains when the games go on sale. Unlike most game stores where their bargain bin consists of 80% outdated sports games, and the rest making up obscure not-so-great games, K-Mart will occasionally put the GOOD games on sale for a great price. Check em' out, and be sure to look for the yellow sticker.MiseryINmotioN
Agreed. Right now at my local K-mart store they are selling off the rest of their Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (original edition, not platinum (if they even made a platinum edition for this game)) for $9.99.

HA! Got mine for $5 at Meijer. :P

It looks like most of the games I'd recommend have already been mentioned, so I'll just add NHL '94. It's still incredibly playable and addicting to this day, and I would absolutely recommend it (and it's cheap :P )

[QUOTE="_AbBaNdOn"]...You only need one sports game for each generation. Each year is just an updated roster for the sports nerds. There isnt really any benefit to buying more unless you get a newer console in which case there will be a jump in graphics and mechanics. NHL on the ps2 is ok. You can make your players, make a team, customize the color of their gear, and customize the whole AI of the game to make it as easy or as hard as you like.

I only turn to sports games when I am truly bored out of my mind with all my other games lol. I would recommend getting something else to play or to save up for a ps2!strayzilla

Pointless and wrong.

I still have my Genesis hooked up and NHL 94 in it right now. My roomate at the time had it on the SNES. The only real difference is the SNES had better def controlls. You couldn't controll the wings on the Genesis. It was easier to play slightly though.

Thanks for the help, but what do you mean by couldn't control the wings and that it's easier to play? Thanks again.
