I have a rear-projection Sony LCD, and it is great. All my games and HD channels look spectacular. The viewing angle thing hasn't come up to the left or right, but the screen is a little darker if you sit in the bean-bag chair we have right in front of the TV, making your angle below it.
So Halo 3 is the first Halo I have gotten into (sorry I was a cow last gen), and it is dominating my gameplay time. For Christmas the only games I am asking for Assassins Creed and Mass Effect, which I figure shouldn't take up too much time since they're both single-player (I'm sure Mass Effect is no 5 hour affair, though). Everyone says I HAVE to own Call of Duty 4, though. I liked CoD 1 and 2 on the PC online and off, but I just don't think I really need another MP game when Halo is satisfying me so much. So is it worth asking for when I can't really play it online a ton? I just hate letting games sit there and rot because they look fun but can't pull me away from a game I'm into (ie every game I bought while I was playing through RE4, etc). Thanks for the advice!
Haha, wow. I'm taking that off my Christmas list. It was between that and that verizon phone that flips up and sideways for texting, the u740. I think I know which I'm going with now. Also, good luck with your phone.
