As XL70 mentioned in a few of his blogs, we are currently working on a popular culture community site called Cult Press.

I have done allot of design work for this site over the last week and its got to the exciting part of the project where it looks like we have a final build design. The colours are looking good, the layout is looking good and whats more important the functions and site dynamics are looking fantastic!

My very kind friend has lent me his Wiii console while he isn't using it, complete with zelda, wii sports, wario ware, smooth moves, and rayman! It has kept me from boiling over the edge with Microsoft, whom after their 'update' to gamespot i have no faith in what so ever.

I can see my xbox now, its in my study, on the floor, looking quite sad for its self.

I found out yesterday i have to design and direct an ad campaign, i'm so excited as its what i've trained for and never really got there. i've got to do outdoor media, media for the side of the bus, internet media, radio ads and some YouTube viral ads. i'ts going to be awesome and i can't wait to get stuck in.

Back to the Wii, i have played the awesome rayman and the quite good warioware, but i have not got into zelda yet, i'm thinking about going and playing it soon! Rayman is so good, its just cracking, i hated rayman when i was younger, bored the helll out of me but the new approach is just gripping.

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced that their new album will be called Zeitgeist, which is very funny ass my favourite band when i was young was the levellers, and they had a good album out called that too. i'm also looking forward to the new Modest Mouse album (March 20th) and the new Kings of Leon album (April 3rd)

The Xbox 360 was a global phenomenon when it was launched in the UK in December 2005. The world's richest man and Microsoft boss Bill Gates called it the Ferrari of home entertainment. But we've had nearly 250 complaints from people who think it's more of a clapped-out old banger.

Worse still, you've been telling us that some of the problems with your faulty Xbox 360 consoles occur when the one-year warranty has run out. That means you have to fork out to get it fixed.

Alex Ainsow had no problems for a year. But, just after the warranty ran out, his Xbox 360 wouldn't stop crashing. He had to pay £85 for the repair. His second Xbox 360 lasted three days before it got the 'three red lights' - a hardware failure known in the gaming community as the 'ring of death'. Once you see them, the box can't be fixed.

Craig Jenkins also got the 'ring of death' when his Xbox 360 was just two months out of warranty. He's been told he'll have to pay £80 to get it fixed.

In the US, Microsoft has admitted it's had a higher number of problems than it expected. Ellie Gibson, editor of the website gamesindustry.biz, told us the gaming companies shouldn't make consumers pay excessive charges.

Microsoft has now offered Ainsow a replacement console and some new games. It says most people with an Xbox 360 have an outstanding experience, and there's no systemic issue. Each incident is unique and looked at on a case-by-case basis. And the company says it does everything it can when people have problems.

So i design a few cards, the event producer and a good friend of mine gets me to sign about 10 cards.... one ends up on ebay with no bids! (so far)

I feel a bit strange about someone trying to sell my 'autograph' i mean its good on one hand but really creapy on the other..

Time for a rant.... Tonight was my xbox night, guess what...before my xbox night i got 3 flashing red lights appear on my console... so i call those **** at Microsoft and find out i have to pay £85 to get it repaired (£85 i don't have btw)

It annoys me because this is a known problem, all of my friends Xbox 360's have died, and yes, they are all of the first generation. i refuse to pay a fee for a product that should of been recalled once the issue came to light. How can they charge that amount of money for something that is going wrong with Thousands of machines all over the world, makes me mad.

I'm going to unleash the biggest **** storm ever on some poor customer service centre person! 1 month out of warranty. Utter bastards!!!

UPDATE so i find lots of articles online about how Microsoft will replace fault xbox 360's that were made before 1st of Jan 2006... which of course mine is. but they refuse to believe this is real at the support center!

THIS PRODUCT SHOULD OF BEEN RECALLLED!!!

Trading Standards are going to be involved.

Also why would i pay £85 to fix it when a wii costs only a few pounds more and doesn't have any problems! My 360 is about to be the most expensive door stop of all time.

About the snow, seems ilike we had lots of snow compared to my 'no snow at all' post. i think next time i'll just keep my mouth shut!.

Quite an exciting week for me, been busy at work on various awesome projects, i've got tooo much work to do to be honest but it needs doing!. I've got to design some more goodies for Celebration Europe, one thing i've got to do is well cool! right out of the 70's, but your have to wait for that kind of info!. I've also got to get cracking on the 'Special Project' XL70 was talking about.

I've recently pitched for a Stationary company's new corperate ID, i didn't win it, but i was up against 2 of the Midlands biggest agencys, so the experience was priceless. (and i now have an amazing name that i will be using because they didn't want it)

Tonight is my games night, Wii and 360 and lots of snacks and 2 huge pizzas..

Snow tomorrow, i bet i have to go to work like every other day, rumour has it its going to snow like loads! upwards of 8 inches. gah we should be so lucky, light ground frost. thats your lot.

I think i'm going to download the Crackdown Demo....My friend says its very good, i'm expecting goood things, Battlestar Gallactica was wierd tonight, good but wierd. My sisters B'Day tomorrow and England v Spain.

p.s i think Baltar is a Cylon....

So can anyone tell me how these Gamespot Levels work? i seem to be level 8....
