actually i have played online and checked out the storefront. the game is seen on my GT game list so i would have to have gone online. and i'm not banned. so you're wrong. FBI? that's hilarious. i don't give a crap anyway.
my wife is a manager at a game crazy, whenever a big game comes out she lets me know and i come in and buy it. yes this is illegal because she's selling it to me early. this is why i didn't want to say anything.
this game is worth every penny. i can see that people dislike the fact that i have this game. i started this thread to answer questions to help people out, not to brag.

I really don't care if you have it illegally or not, but saying you don't care about law enforcement issues is foolish. I hope you know that your wife can be fined up to $10,000 per copy that she sells early, and I'm pretty sure she would care about that (as would her bosses and you, I hope). In addition, I've read that Microsoft has started banning consoles that go online with unauthorized early copies of games (reviewers and company-authorized people excepted, of course). Like I said, I don't have a personal stake in whether or not you have an illegal game, but you should know that there are consequences and that it probably isn't a great idea to come onto a public forum and brag about it. yeah i am aware of the consequences, but like i said before, i don't care. my wife is well aware of the consequences as well. i'm not bragging, im answering questions some people may have about the game. bragging would be posting something like 'YEAH GOT THE GAME 2 WEEKS EARLY WOOOT IM SO KEWL!!'
Your Not Bragging? The title of your thread says it all. Don't lie. You downloaded it and you know it. The game doesn't even come out for another 2 and a half weeks. Retail stores don't get them until usually a week before the release date and sometimes a few days before release date. Like I said, show me some proof other than the fact your GT shows you've played the game and maybe I'll believe you. But you can't because it's a pirated copy. TOOL!

I don't give a rat's ass how he got it! Please XKOJIMAX, answer me this. Can you drive a stock Corvette Z06? If so, go to Suzuka (they still have that track right?), and drive around the esses section right after the first turn. In Forza 2, some of the higher horsepower cars were practically undrivable in esses because of the floaty oversteer that wouldn't even snap to when you let off the throttle. It was like the software code had a line that said that it you lost the rear end you couldn't gain it back for .5 seconds regardless of what you do. This is the very reason why I am considering not buying Forza 3 because Shift is so much much better at controlling rear wheel spin. In Shift, I can dial on just the right amount of throttle to lose grip or let off to gain grip. I tried the Forza 3 demo and the rear wheel drive cars act the SAME as Forza 2--not an encouraging sign!catrocr
Actually, I have a couple people on my FR that have what they call a green copy of the game. From what I understand it's the full game they just can't access the AH or Storefront till the actual release date. From what I've heard the rear wheel drive cars are a bit more forgiving this time around and handle better than the ones in FM2. Hope that helps.

You say your GF got it for you from Game Crazy? BS! Retailers don't even have the game yet. I wanna see some proof. I wanna see the disc art, box art and instructions. There are people out there that have earliy copies of the game, but only a select few. These lucky few are respected members of the Forza community. I haven't seen you on the forums before so that leaves that out. Smells a little fishy to me. Show me some proof and then I'll change my tune.
I was hoping they would do a Guitar Hero Ozzfest. There's been enough Ozzfest' that the track list would be staggering. They could set it up like any other GH. You start out doing sets for the battle of Ozzfest, then you start as as the morning act and eventualy as you progress through the game you headline Ozzfest. Think about all the kick ass bands that played at Ozzfest over the years. Tell me it wouldn't be a hit among metal fans.
I haven't beat the game yet, but have log quite a bit of hours. This is one of 2008 best and I enjoy it alot. I haven't found much in the game that I don't dislike. There are some small issues, but they're acceptable. I highly recomend this game.
I disagree. This game is horrible now. It was bad before and worst now. Every game I've been on lags and getting a match going takes an eternity. Every other game I play online I have no problem with, but GOW2 is just CRAP!!! Thanks Epic for taking what could've been a great game and butchering it! IDIOTS!!!
