Well, if youre carefull like me, after i play a certain game (either on xbox360 or ps3) just let it be on the main menu of the console for 5 minutes for her to cool off a little. shutting it down in the middle of the game , u have to probability of the console acessing the HDD at that moment (which is never good if its writing) and the console at that time will be at its higher operating temperature.

Given the popularity that the current DS has, if Nintendo pulls the crap of not using the DSi to its fullest (i bet that almost no one that bought a DSi knows of the increased hardware power), and ignoring the XL after 12 months, then they would lose all their credibility and i woulnd't pick up another nintendo handheld in my life.

Well, first of all, the DSLL just came out, and given the popularity that the DS has theres no point on having another DS. What bothers me is that the transition from DSL to DSI should be the same as the gameboy to the gameboy color.

The dsi has twice the processor and 4 times the ram than the original DS, so not take advantage of the hardware that they already have? Not only that, if they would only make games for DSi, they would sell aswell, and everybody would be happy.

The problem is, i don't understand nintendo marketing since the wii came out, they turned into money hoggers so i really don't know what they hold next.

As for being disapointed with the DSi, i personally got one, cause i wanted the lineup that the original console already has and i couldn't be more happy since there are alot of good games.

I think new, improved graphics are a plague that haunt this industry. I was glad to know that this generation would last longer than expected because in it gives more time for developers to improve the next game on the machine and incorporate things that they thought it was impossible till then, that would improve our experience as gamers.

The cost of making a game is ludicrous nowadays and with a generation staying longer than its suposed, those costs will decrease which is better for the industry since it seems that at any moment it will collapse on itself.Way too many companies that i loves suffered from this transition.

You being the longrun gamer that you are i kind of think you would agree more with my point of view than yours.
