i hear lots of good things about the STALKER games, so id say it sounds like a good idea.
thanks for the heads up, by the way- i read your message, saw that it ended up being only $5, and bought it on the spot.

This game will unlock in approximately 1 hour
is what it gives me. a while ago it took that away and didnt say anything though, so i don't know. this wait is killing me though.
if it's for gaming purposes only and your budget isn't that great, the only real solution i can see is to get a desktop for about half the price that runs twice as well.
as far as i've seen, a lot of laptops can run current gen games, but usually not on very high settings. and they get really, really hot.
edit- that particular laptop at least has a dedicated graphics card, so it'll give you a better shot than most.
This, i wont even be touching it. Well, im goign to pirate it probably for S.P. because IW basically asked me to with the direction they took with the game.[QUOTE="Dr_Brocoli"][QUOTE="k0r3aN_pR1d3"]No. Dedicated servers > iw.net. Everyday and tomorrow. Enosh88
bull. ****ing. ****
IW didn't force you into ****ing piracy, if you don't want to buy the game beacose of no dedicated servers that's fine, don't buy it then, but don't come here with that weak ass ****ing excuses for piracy. Don't buy it, don't play it simple as that. If you Do want to play it for whatever reason then buy it, price too high? Wait for it to drop
IW might as well have forced people like that into piracy. They decide to charge $10 more for a game that's worth $10 less than the last one. I don't condone piracy in any way, shape, or form, but if there was ever a good reason to pirate a game, IW just gave one. If you want to sit way up there on your high horse and act like you have some moral obligation to scold someone for something as trivial as that, you go right ahead and raise that blood pressure, son. Although I think you know as well as I do that anyone who's already made the decision to pirate this game isn't going to change their mind due to your whining.By the way, bad words do not make you look edgy, and censoring your bad words just makes people skim over your post because all they see is RAGE.
when i switched from CoD4 xbox to CoD4 pc, the lack of host advantage was the first thing i noticed.
the second thing i noticed was that there's much more freedom.
on xbl, there was no choice in the map, no way to get rid of extremely irritating players (which admittedly are more common on xbl than on pc), and on pc, i can play a game with more than 8 players.
oh, and the pc version was $10 cheaper... i see this new system as a step backwards, so i'm still on the fence about it. (for the record, before this nonsense, i was definitely getting this game)
yeah, it is. i wish you'd given me this news about a game i wanted to get.
just got world in conflict and company of heroes for $10 altogether. also got bioshock the week it went on sale. can't argue with $15 for 3 great games.
if anything like that ever happens, just go to the "my account" link on the left side menu and re-download it. the activation key is there too. it's kind of like how steam works, but im not sure if you can install games on different computers.
i just recently stockpiled enough money in the bank to buy games with, so only a few...
the orange box
bioshock
and
assassin's creed
