My Philosophy, a rushed game is crappy and lost forever, but a game that the developers take their time with lasts forever, for some Twilight Princess is a example to that, although I could have done with one more delay to make it even more better.

Us gamers are impatient, we want a game right now rather then waiting forever, and we just have to realize how long it takes a developer to finish a game and make it awesome, alot of time and alot of work goes into it.

Hardcore is in the eyes of the Beholder, besides Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M just to name 2 future hardcore Nintendo titles, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 or Trilogy, Mario Kart Wii, Resident Evil 4, The conduit, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, just to name a few already out, so if you think these titles are not hardcore and Nintendo hasn't got anything you find "Hardcore" maybe it's time you should move on to something different.

[QUOTE="znator"]I am sorry to burst your bubble, I work at Fred Meyer where this ad is present and good at, and know for a fact it was a misprint, the games are and will be $50 at our store for awhile, we have been mad busy all week telling people of this misprint and correcting our mistake, so $29.99 is "NOT" what you will get it for but regular price.SirSpudly

Sorry that you didn't read all of my post. Because your competitors seemed to have no problem price matching your mistake, which is funny because you lost business when the lower price should have increased it.

And for the last time, stop telling everyone here what price to pay for these things, it seems nobody caught my post about how you're not giving your money directly to Nintendo. Before you rant and rave about what a game should cost, stop and realize that copies of the game can be had for around $42 when you buy direct, meaning that you're giving about $8 to a company NOT named Nintendo! Everyone here keeps defending a price point by listing the qualities of the game, yet I'm the only one listing the quality of the service.

Stop getting served, realize the difference between real price and true value. And stop trying to defend a product by only going over the gameplay or shininess aspect of the package. Nobody yelled at me for picking up Marble Saga Kororinpa for $15, but everyone seems to have a problem with getting a Nintendo game for nearly half off. Get over it.

Hey don't yell at me for a mistake, we are only doing our job, and we were told outright don't sell the game at that price because its a misprint, we have to listen to our bosses or get fired, and do you think I wouldn't want to pay that price for it, I would gladly jump on it if it remained true at my store, I don't make the ads, I didn't make the mistake, I just work in that department of the store and that's just what I was told.

I never said you had to pay $50 for it, I am saying the game is well worth it if your "willing to pay that much money out", especially since buying them outright is going to cost you over $80 right now, if you want to go and pay a cheaper amount then so be it, I am not going to be the one to stop you, thats your choice and anybody elses decision what price they are willing to pay for it.

And lastly, I was just pointing out the fact that my company made a mistake, something we have been dealing with the past week, and have gotten yelled at alot, but its not the workers fault, its not my fault, its the fault of the person who printed the ads, and you will not get it for that price "at our store".

I am sorry if I came off on the wrong foot, meant nothing by it, and once again if your willing to pay $30 or $50 for the game that's your opinion,I for one think its worth the $50 especially since outright you will have to pay alot more for the old Gamecube versions

Well I think they kinda already have. Seeing as how all the "Nex-Gen" fans think the only thing that make a System nex-gen is HD Graphics with the exact same gameplay, I would say that Nintendo already is in the "Next Nex-Gen" for giving an entirely new way to play games rather than just upping the graphics.

I agree, Nintendo has set a motion that the other companies are going to do next gen, and since this gen is going to last somewhat longer then the last, hopefully another 3-5 years minimum, I believe Next gen will not feature new consoles, but who will best with their motion periperals, Microsoft has Natal, and Sony has its own motion based controller, so Nintendo is ahead of its time on how we play games, and with a price cut of the Wii by even $50 they could possibly still their console well into next gen. Look at the PS2 for instance, last gen tech, and its still going strong, I expect the Wii to follow the same suit, if not Nintendo will possibly jump into the bandwagon with a new console later on down the road.

You probably don't have to!

If you have a store close to you that price matches from any/all ads of other companies. Print this out! That's $30 for the brand-new premium version!

If you live near a Toys'Rus, they are having a buy one get one half off sale on ALL Wii/DS games to ever be put into their system, including this week's arrivals! This sale ends Saturday and works in-store or online! Of course, if you didn't like this week's offerings, you could always slip in Little King Story. Quite a steal at $25 (for another month or so anyway)

If those two fail, and you still want the Trilogy you can always check out amazon.com, which is showing the title at $46.99. Certainly below MSRP and usually accepted at your local mega-superstore. I don't know how they can get away with free shipping though, the game weighs like a brick. I know Nintendo is trying to protect this part of their legacy but they took things really literally.

And, if you live in Canada, sorry. I'm sure the lack of sales have nothing to do with unemployment rates and wage freezes, but you should cherish your 3 wii games for a freebie deal at EB games. If they had that in America I would be rich, which I'm sure is why it doesn't happen here.

And to tell you the truth I sold my Primes awhile back ago and all I can say is that the regular price is a fair price especially for 3 games that are full of depth and exploration, not to mention the graphical, widescreen, and Wii waggle controls tacked in.

That would be Sonic and the Secret Rings, ugh... how could they screw up a Sonic game, especially on Wii.

Wow, just wow, but all I can say is when you buy anything used, ask to see the disc first, if they refuse you to walk away, when I go to a place like Game Crazy or Gamestop I check first thing to make sure it is the right game, and that the disc is in good condition without any major scratches, if it is I ask them if I can have another disc if available, if no more is available I just cancel my purchase, better not to waste your money on a scratched game only to find out that it doesn't work when you take it home, especially a long ways from home like this guy.

If I was you, I would just return it, 16 hours is a long way for a game that doesn't run, complain and get your money back and use it for something else or buy a used version from a local used gamestore, if it breaks just drive a short distance. :p

I like mine flat, just because of the airflow, when you stand it virtically your blocking a big vent from getting sufficiant airflow as is when you have it Horizontal you are only blocking a very small vent, plus if you knock the thing constantly and it falls over your eventually going to ruin your discs, so I will continue to keep it horizontal.

I bought my Wii for many reasons, first off I have grown up with Nintendo, and I know I am getting a quality product or game from them, so knowing how good Nintendo first party titles are it was a guaranteed buy.

Secondly they announced a new way to play, which I knew had to be a start to be a start down the road to being a potential step towards eventually getting Virtual Reality, and I was all for trying that out since it looked fun.

So the only thing to answer is was it worth it, am I satisfied? well my answer is with games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, The Conduit, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, etc I am getting a fair share of good titles that are keeping me entertained with more to come such as the rumored Pikmin 3, new Wii Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid: Other M, I am sound as a pound with my Wii purchase.

[QUOTE="koukiii"]

LoZ Oot is the best !

Should Nintendo make a remake of LoZ Oot for wii

shoryuken_

Nope, we have too many remakes as it is. Maybe they should release Master Quest on the VC.

Although, I wouldn't mind a DS version, atleast we can have a version of the game to take on the go, then after that they can retire it.
