Go to stardock.com and download the "window fx" utility. It makes the taskbar transparent when you are not hovering over it but opaque when you move over it with yur mouse. Compare the desert pic to my first one and you will see what I mean.

This is my old one but I screwed it up :(

and the one under it is my new one :) whoops it is the other way around. Top one is my new one, bottom is old one
