How can you stand watching soccer? It has to be the most boring sport to watch on TV. It's fun to play but terrible to watch because nothing every happens. msuspartan11American. And baseball and golf take the award for most boring to watch, both in person and on T.V.
[QUOTE="Nightstreak"]I see... and all this time I thought it was because we are bombarded with sexual images in our everyday lives. -Pred-Alien-Many parts of the world people arent, and as a result that isnt the only thing they talk about Are you serious? I guarantee you, everyone in this age group (13-21) is thinking about sex all of the time. It's called hormones, the thing that our body produces to allow us to create offspring before we die at age 30, or would have if we were still living in primitive conditions.

We saved alot of Europes sorry ass in Europe because they couldn't fight off Nazi's on their own, and this is how we get thanked? 13,104,355 good men with families, wives, andmaybe even children are not alive anymore, and have left their family with grief, and despair so that they didn't have to answer to oppresion, and utter tyranny by Nazi rule.

Erm..... you realise of course that the U.S was a major factor in causing WW2? The U.S's refusal to join the League of Nations was a major factor in Germany and Japan's brashness in expanding their spheres of influence since any economic sanctions were meaningless due to the fact that their main trade parters were the U.S, add the fact that without the support of the american military the aged British Empire (left as such due to it's industry being effectively stolen by the U.S during the WW1) was unable to afford the upkeep of maintaining any military actions that the LON might have ever decided to impose. Your arrogance is exactly what annoys Europeans and is exactly what he's apologising for as such a mentality is what the previous american government had worked by and effectively alienated all of it's allies.
I heard its cool to blame America for your stupid wars nowadays. Its the CIA man, the CIA America created the League of Nations after WW1... they ran it...King Tiger tank teh most bad ass tank for me, 3 to 1 were a 50/50 odds. Not a King Tiger!JimCarreyForYou
[QUOTE="Famiking"]I agree. Unlike video games, I think movies have the potential to influence people. This includes people seeing their favourite "cool" actor smoking in the new drama. Everyone imitates TV characters to a certain extent. But I think rather than banning kids from seeing it, I think maybe you can tax these sort of companies more per sale (just a tiny one) - and give them grants if they paint smoking or fast food in a negative light.Hallenbeck77
I've watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I've watched Trainspotting. I've even watched various XXX films. But not one of those movies influenced me to dismember people with power tools, go on a heroin induced bender...or participate in a orgy with a midget, a container of Crisco, and various forms of livestock. Not everything that people watch has that kind of influence on them.
Way to go way overboard. Smoking =/= murder. Smoking is easy, legal-ish and cheap. It's much easier for someone to imitate something they can find easily than imitate a murder. There are just way too many things wrong with your example to address.
