True. If anyone launched a nuke today our world would end with MAD. At least the U.S. missile defence grid is being developed. Once that's up nuke's will be useless as they can be shot out of the sky.[QUOTE="zombiefruit"][QUOTE="btaylor2404"] Oh I fully agree with Truman's decision, I just think all people and nations should look back at that and realize we can't do it again, especially with the power of today's bombs.Shi-ro-me
What if they destroy our satellites? =O We'd be powerless!!
Tupac Shakur's long lasting influence will make everyone re-think pushing the big red button. (Joking! [QUOTE="zombiefruit"]No offence TC, but it's incredibly stupid and close-minded to think that Tupac Shakur's death was the most important in the history of mankind. 9/11, while instrumental in shaping our decade really wasn't that important. The holocaust was terrible, and should be remembered but the greatest moment in history, or at least the one that should be remembered are The Crusades, as they show the power of misguided religious fervor and racism, all rolled into one great 200-year period of death. Humanity could always learn from that. The Crusades also showed that there are terrible people of any race, but also good people. Saladin, etc.Shi-ro-me
I know thousands of people would beg to differ with me and think I'm demented, but I'm going say one of them should be Tupac Shakurs death. Don't get me wrongthere's hundreds of more important moments in history, but I just felt like posting this one. My reason for this is because to me he is one of the only artists to have enough guts to speak out against numerous things wrong with the music industry, government, society, etc. And even though he had his "moments" where the media or he himself seemed completely irrational, behind all of thathe was usually correct. He was one of the most dark rappers and yet at the same time I don't think I've heard a more positive rapper since him. Agree or disagree I don't care my opinion won't be budged. What's one moment in history you think should not be forgotten?
I don't believe that Tupac's death is the most important moment in history. If you would have read my post thoroughly you would have noticed that.
Nuh uh.
