Who thought Rome was much better? Medieval 2 improves upon Rome in every way. Medieval 2 is much better. Only reason you would think Rome is better is if you really like the setting alot more.

At that res at high (except shadows) and tweaks I get 20 FPS in heavy gun fights and around 30-35 walking around. I also have 2g DDR2 800MHz RAM and a X2 6000.

World in Conflict is demanding too!!biggest_loser

Not even close, at all. My 7600gt used to run it at 1024x1024 at all medium with over 20 FPS minimum, usually around 35 FPS average. I could only run Crysis on low at that res with decent FPS with the 7600gt. Now with a 8800gt and x2 6000 I can max out WiC at 1600x1200 DX10, everything enabled easily with 40 fps average, 20 min.

So it is D3. Seems careless of blizz though to build up all that hype from that splash screen to just have it revealed on the battle.net forum's search feature a few days before that big event.
