IMO Call of Duty 2 was a lot better than COD3. The graphics in the newer one seem cartoony sometimes, and the AI is really dirt-cheap. On veteran, you cna wipe out a whole warehouse of guys and get taken out by the last man hiding behind a box fifty feet away with an MP40. Enjoy.

I would keep saving up money and wait until April to see if the rumors of a larger HDD and HDMI port are true. By then you'll have enough for more than one game, and you'll have more hard drive space for live arcade games, music, etc.

No, North Korea wouldn't stand a chance against the United States, even though we are almost tapped militarily because of the Iraq bumbling. The United States is also large enough geographically that an invasion is impractical.
That said, the power of the United States is very much in decline, and China is growing more and more into a superpower. Consider that 9 of every 10 outstanding bonds the US has issued, on which the government pays semiannual interest, have been issued to China. So our deficit spending and increased military budget means every one of us here, through tax dollars, is sending money directly to China. I'm sure they laugh every time Bush petitions Congress for billions more in war funding, because that's literally money in their pockets.
