Possibly the MOST UNDERRATED SHMUP on the SNES/Super Famicom (its basically a battle between Mega Man X and Zero)
It starts with a nice intro, with the blue robot who lets just call X fighting his rival red robot with long blond hair, lets call em Zero in outer space using many sprites to really show there fight.
(find it kinda of kick ass)
anyway the game was made by naxat soft. in 1996
Its got about 7-8 long lvls of non stop action, where you travel throw space as a mech trying to eliminate zero from creating this type of mech war weapon, which well help it control the universe.
you fight zero many times and as you go to threw the lvls, he gets more powerful and even gets armors (megaman reference right there lol)
Music 8/10 THERE VERY CATCHY and fit really well with the lvls, mostly the fighting parts,
story 9/10 the story as of what i understand is pretty good, not something you see in a old school video game often.
controls 9/10 solid
gameplay 9/10 the game using the affects of the snes power quite decent with long lvls and BOSSES that are pretty difficult but to difficult that make just say "f it" or are plain just unfair, but the challenge of the lvls and bosses are JUST RIGHT.
overall its a VERY UNIQUE SHMUP GAME and i strongly recommend it to be a must on your snes/super famicom collection as well for shmups fans, who love a good challenge.
