SC returns on PS2! A good sequel, and worthy addition to the series.
User Rating: 8.5 | Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow PS2
You know, considering the PS2 only had a 133 mhz processor, and NO anti-aliasing, I don't see what there really is to complain about in the ps2 version of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. It is fun, the story is complex and climatic. The combat and aiming are vastly improved, and the multi-player side is just as good as the other versions. The lighting does suffer considerably, which is the PS2 version's only real flaw. The best scene is on the train mission...SO COOL. The jungle mission is exclusive to the PS2 version, so extra content is offered. The story is about what you could expect from the SC series: A terrorist is planning something big, and it's up to Sam Fisher to discover the true nature of the conspiracy. One good thing to point out is there is an interesting twist in the plot, which kept me interested after more than a few hours. The aiming is so much better in this game than in the original Splinter Cell, in fact, you can click down the left stick and have a laser sight on the sc pistol, instead of relying on the silly crosshairs (this is invaluable when sneaking a shot off on a target walking closer to you!!) as this became a frustration with the first Splinter Cell. So if you have the time and possibly 5 dollars or less, I recommend this game to any bargain shopper!
