The minum PC requirements for this game as they claimed is not true. They want us to believe It's Next Gen. It's not. They are lying for mony. Even a Core 2 Duo 2.4 will run it smoothly.

Why lying. I guess they're right. Most of the people are stupid.

If a game really rocks. I don't care if ít's Gen or Next. I'll get it.

@ns0l I agree that simply being next gen doesn't make a game great. To be honest I get tired of how dudes at E3 or other game expos say "look at all those polygons" or stuff like "that has never been done before in a game" when there are clearly many games that came out before the ones their talking about and have done the same (or very similar) technical stuff.

@BlackGenjii @ns0l Graphics and visuals, for sure. Something else, I doubt it. "never done in a game before". It's the will, nothing else. How do you think it's possible to make a high detailed game like Skyrim or Falout 3 or GTA V?. GTA V made up by over 1000 people. Guess how many people made Skyrim?

@HellsKing Sounds like too many people all crammed together making a big game (that's supposedly supposed to be a triple A title) is not good for the game that their making. Marathon, Doom, Powerslave and Half life are prime examples of a small team making a big game that come's out looking great and is great. Not that Skyrim is a small game (in terms of crew members) like the ones I just named.

@BlackGenjii @ns0l 100 people. 3 years of development. I'm sure that AC has a lot more than 1000 people now. After the success of the first release. They become greedy. They wanted a game every year. What if they give every game 3 years.

They wanted fast money for an acceptable work. They don't seek perfection. I think they can if they wanted to.

But so far no one gets closer to Skyrim.

That's 900 people less than GTA, according to ns01, and it's still a better game.

Meh, I hated the crafting "system" in FC3, it felt useless and simply tacked on to puff up the feature list.

The early updates felt mandatory, while the later ones felt useless, and all of it was boring.

But then the whole game felt like a disjointed feature list, the story was pathetic.

is obvious that has elements that make a game ACIII from 0 takes a long time. For my people are very ignorant about creating games are concerned, they want to see all different from previous versions, then I wonder?? if it's all different would a new game and would not have anything to do with ACIV, for me is very positive and normal to copy some things from other games provided you keep the essence of the game just added more things to the game hunts that have existed for long time and fits perfectly into the game and season. That's the world always good games people complain about everything

@b0sse i do.. and they are a highly misunderstood animal. :( if people actually did thier research sharks aint the problem. Humans are.

Sharks have been here for millions of years and then suddenly humans came to be and started going into thier territory, and started killing them because suddenly we realised there is something else higher than us on the foodchain. and then ofcourse the big problem with the 'fins' market.

Without sharks.. the entire eco system in the oceans is gonna get messed up.

I like the movie jaws, but in no way does it depict real life behaviour of sharks :)

just my 2 cents ^^

Best Regards and much love from

I think the problem with ACIII wasn't the game mechanics or even Connor, it was the setting. The Assassin's Creed series gameplay it's better suited for those big and amazing cities in Europe than the small, almost rural towns in Colonial United States because since the beginning, AC was rooted in the feeling of impression.

That sense of awe felt in the first games was impossible to reproduce in ACIII. The Frontier wasn't just enough for that. Remember that mission in Brotherhood where you had to climb a massive cupule? Well, that's the best example.

@VargasUniverse i think the problem was that ac3 was like a hollywood summer popcorn movie marketed to hell full of cgi effects that arent even that good to begin with and terrible characters dialogue plot so in other words all flash zero depth...

I will admit this is a lot more than I expected. I dig the tropical setting, as I thought it would be more of the locales found in AC3. Shark hunting for the win.

Assassins Creed died with Ezio, AC3 and AC4 is just unnecessary. AC4 looks and feels exactly like AC3 with a bit of FC3... what happened to ASSASSIN missions and stealth gameplay instead of fucking running around in the jungle hunting animals?? Cancelled preorder.

I am sincerely disappointed with how this turned out. I remembered the time when Assassin's Creed was about... well..... assasin's. I missed being able to climb those tall buildings and seeing the wonder of the city from above. You can do things in missions and finish them by your own means. There was also a great feeling of purpose in the story, and Ezio was a great character.

Now, we have a pirate simulator, copy pasted with elements from Farcry. The developers need to learn game developing 101, which is: DO NOT COPY PASTE GAME ELEMENTS!!Assasin's Creed is Assasin's Creed, and Farcry is Farcry. Combining the 2 of them results in an utterly disgusting substance.

I'll probably buy this game since i still love the franchise. I'm just disappointed with how Ubisoft has made this game to be. The direction they're going is not to my liking, and i'm sure a lot of people have about the same opinion as mine. I just wish they go back to what they used to be, Assasin's Creed.

Well to be fair FC3 copied a lot of elements from AC (among others) and was critically lauded and hugely successful, so can't say I'm surprised they're trying to repeat that

@jawslover Though the point remains that they're copy pasting, what i personally want, is something new, not just some rehash of something that's successful. I want to see them take risks, and I will respect them if they do that.

@VargasUniverse @Kevin20099 @jawslover I might have overlooked that, but the thing is, how they did it in ACIII isn't satisfying to us gamers. I think hunting is a new thing there, but it is so rushed that is just got to the point of it being pointless. Tree climbing is new, but you are so limited in places you can climb on that it just feels scripted at times. The Homestead is new, but why do you even want to do that? It doesn't really affect the main storyline in any way. The ships are new, but it just drifts them farther from what they were, an assasination game. And you can practically use the Tomahawk all game and not notice any difference (unlike in ACII which you need to change sometimes to be more deadly)

Though, i do respect them for including those new things, thanks for pointing it out to me. But for us gamers (or me at least) to notice them, they got to at least make it good so we can notice the changes and appreciate them for what they are. Those new things just don't work in ACIII

This looks like it's going to become a great game. And i will very likely buy it.

BUT.

I miss roaming the streets of damascus searching for the next templar to silently and skilfully *cough* assassinate.

Or blending in between a group of Courtesans finding a trail leading towards those who have harmed the family.

Assassins creed 1 / 2 / Brotherhood and even revelations will always have a special place in my memory. "And actually on my skin"

But assassins creed 3, Connor just wasn't badass enough.
And with this game, though i will withhold my final judgment for it till it gets released, does not feel like an assassins creed.

Assassins creed died with Ezio,

MARTIN GASTON, I don't know what to think about you.
First you say that you feel weird for killing animals in a game, but I guess killing people feels perfectly normal?
And then you say that sharks are "godless killing machines"; please, go out and get an education. It is because ignorant comments like yours people are still afraid of sharks. I personally been diving with some of the most "dangerous" sharks and I still have all my fingers and toes.
Man, stop playing videogames for a while and go outside, and try to become less ignorant in the process.

@TomSupertramp Sorry buddy, I meant no offence. It was just a (probably rubbish) attempt to make a bit of a lighthearted joke. Please don't think that I actually condone or endorse the idea of hunting sharks in real life. Or hunting anything, really.

I'll be honest, I don't know that much about sharks and I'll admit I've never been diving with sharks and, well, I still don't think I'd be comfortable doing that. Power to you. To be fair I'd feel uncomfortable diving with crabs nearby, so it's probably more me than the sharks on that one.

@TomSupertramp I don't think he was being entirely serious nor trying to make an educated statement on sharks... Most sharks won't purposely attack humans it's true, and hammerheads with their small mouths couldn't 'eat' you (a thousand needles can't rip skin) but a bull/tiger/white shark...different story. They still won't try to eat you, but they will test bite, and a test bite from a white shark will kill you. So they are killing machines. However not deserving of being hunted as they are a crucial part of our ecosystem. Just don't go out accusing the guy who was just saying he feels bad about virtual hunting and just throws in a shark remark that is in no way serious, of being ignorant.
