compared to Call Of Duty this kinda looks cartoony indeed.

I received an email from EA stating that it arrives on XBL on July 9th. I figure EA should know.

I wasted many countless hours on BF1942 and this looks quite promising -- also download able content to include the rest of '42 could be possible.

At first it looked slightly cartoony. Guess I was wrong.

The Battlefield series is great, but I have always thought it odd that the game renders all combat quite arcade-like, in that there is no authentic tactics/strategy involved (a la Brothers in Arms).

This should be a pretty badass game going by past battlefields and my faith in dice. Maybe it will hold me over until BF3

Lol, why are the particle effects so horrible?! "Company of Heroes", a realtime strategy game by Relic Entertainment, has superior particle effects.

A battlefield game for $15, damn this is great for when you are bored. Now i got something to play while I wait for Modern Warfare 2.

Lol about the Mosin Nagant argument. The Karbiner and Nagant are both great weapons...( they both kill right? ) I prefer the new 50 caliber sniper rifles. As a Marine sniper.....jamming sucks....even modern rifles jam...oh, game looks great!

This looks cool but three classes is kinda small, and a Vietnam version would be nice WWII games are getting old but for only 15$ its a steal.

you were playing with "Giantbombing" I see. in the quick look, they kept getting left behind as everyone else was taking vehicles and running. did that happen to you too? i would be annoyed at always getting left behind when someone else could wait 2 seconds for me to hop in the jeep with them.

I can't wait for the demo. I don't know if I should get it for the Xbox 360, or the PS3. Uh, hard decision.

The iron sights only change on rifles (sniper scope or regular sights), wheras the SMGs just go to a tighter crosshair.

jdc, you realise you're in the PC tab right? it's clearly going to tell you the PC release, not the ps3 release date.

The range on that sniper's remote charge was HUGE! Game looks awesome. For $15, what have you got to lose?

Looks excellent, definatly a download for me. As for BF:Heroes. I enjoyed it, the problem is that it dosen't have much depth. In the end I just ended up buy the orange box :P

The only problem I have with Bad Company, (which will be my problem with 1943) is how it feels to shoot the weapons. The controls just aren't tight, and not satisfying.

This will be the first BF game that I will just pass up.

@thecadaver bf heros is a casual game. free to play ? yes but without real money this game is no fun at all. its like all the online mmorpgs for pc ! they are free to play but if you want something maybe new clothes or whatever you can pay ! and that sucks ! i will never play bf heros cause its a cartoon fps. NOT MY BATTLEFIELD !

IF it is already approved than hurry up with a release date already.

@Jackmurphy5555 oh yeah, the infantry version of the mosin nagant jammed more than the sniper version due to shoddy manufacturing of the infantry version.

@Jackmurphy5555 I never said they weren't reliable, the mosin nagant is very accurate. Bolt action rifles never jam my ass, I have 3 mosin nagants and a karabiner 98k, they are all very prone to jamming, not so much the 98k, but the nagants another story with the complex bolt mechanics. Modern bolt actions are very smooth, hardly having to use any pressure.
