Call of Duty: Ghosts Graphics Comparison

@arqe @ISxITxSAFE If you're saying that you think that ghosts is a new franchise then I would disagree. Honestly if its still got the "Call of Duty" name on the box and is made by the same people as past Call of Duty titles then its still part of the same franchise. I apologize for assuming you were a native English speaker, but that means +1 for you for blending in that well, bravo. And knowing that bit, no I do not feel superior to you. I never said that I was here looking at these comparisons to determine what console I would get it for as far as jumping between say Xbox and Playstation or PC. I'm here mostly to determine if this game is truly what was promised as being a "next-gen" title and I don't think it is. Even if the graphics were better on say Xbox 360 than PS3 I wouldn't say "well I guess my choice is clear and I HAVE to buy a 360 so I can play Ghosts on it because its the best looking." That would be stupid and a waste of money considering that both of those consoles are nearing the end of their usefulness. If I was going to get this game for anything it would have been for PS4 as I was planning on getting the PS4 sometime in the near future as my next console. After seeing this video though I don't think I will plan on getting this game until maybe it goes on sale (which it never will considering it's a Call of Duty title!). I enjoy this kind of discussion though as at least we are not arguing so much about the consoles as we are about this game in particular.

hmm , you compare between different platforms and wanna know if its worth buying ? worth for what platform ? you got them all ? you cant choose which console you want to buy ? this is just a graphic comparison for FANBOYS to fight on article , thats all. You own a ps3 lets say and if xbox360 got better graphics you gonna buy xbox360 for ghosts ? No you wont buy a console because that one got slightly better graphics.Im not saying you are wrong at comparing them but its not needed , no game can make people buy another console if you already own one of them.

@prats93 On a big screen yeah, unlike in this video being watched from my laptop the PS4 looks pretty much the same as current gen. Having a higher res doesn't make the lighting and things any better does it?

On this video the "next gen" looks like a current gen console - console port. PC one looked a bit crisper naturally but the PS4 one was hardly being pushed to the limit was it?

You can't compare anything unless they are side by side in a DIRECT comparison. You compare like with like otherwise it is a pointless exercise isn't it?

@prats93 When you go about calling someone an fucking idiot you should make sure you opinions are valid ones! Just because it's 1080 vs 720 doesn't mean it'll look any better on the PS4. Just look at the comparison between the PS3 and 360 we have here, the 360 was clearly better looking and that's after 8yrs of working with the current gen architecture and the PS3 being the superior machine on paper.

@prats93 only difference from its predecessor is realistic colors with 1080p. Next-Gen truly here.
