@Trol1yFartsy @driftingsilvia It's funny when Gamespot gets bent out of shape and makes a video being mad about what people said about the GTA V review. All while doing this on a show thats based on over the top comments. Then turn around and toss out insults a week later.

@FAIL_TR0LL @Trol1yFartsy @driftingsilvia Amish don't hang out on the internet but they don't completely reject modernity. It's only tech that pulls the community apart that is forbidden. So a car or phone can't be owned but an emergency cab ride to the hospital is fine. Interesting culture.

the poor kids that don't know how to build a pc will have they're lives made less a pain with this method and i think it will work well, its a nice jump to a new way to see gaming.

im too good at building my own PCs that i shouldn't need such a thing anyway, but i have to see it.

Is this Feedbackula or a testimonial COMMERCIAL for Steambox.. Two Weeks ago it was a Commercial for Steam. Before that a glorified commercial for 2DS. F*ck feedbackula, youve sold out. Whats the point of using funny english accents to mock the commetors, if the comments arent laughably poorly spelled rants and flamebait trolls. Using the engkish accents and funny voices to read out people gushing and making happy comments about Steambox defeats the purpose. It's not funny. It Sucks. Blatant product placement. This crap is just a six minute commercial for Valve.

I was planning on building a new gaming rig sometime late November but I might wait to hear more about this SteamOS. Since it's based on linux, I wonder how many games will be able to be played on it by the time it comes out. In the end, I think I'll just build my PC but kudos to Valve for this new path they are headed on.

@schu Since it's linux based, it's probably gonna be possible at some point, the only disadvantage being the limited amount of ressources you'll be able to assign to it instead of going 'full power' for this gaming-oriented OS. Pretty understandable if you have some work to do in Windows at the same time though.

It's not about the effort, it's about principle.

They shouldn't be releasing a Tablet / Mobile OS on PCs.
Even if you do have the option to turn it back into a proper PC OS. Why not just make it a proper PC OS from the beginning, as standard.
