Q: why did they release Iron Banner again so soon after releasing the new DLC?

A: To appease those who haven't purchased the DLC. It's absolutely pointless to everyone who has the DLC. With light level 33 on the new gear, which I alreadyhad, I couldn't even bring myself to enter the Crucible. Start using your head on these things Bungie. I would have release a new Queen bounty event next or maybe a new event.

Farming glimmer. This is My Little Pony? Hardcore gamers grinding make all gear pointless. Casual gamer whining makes hardcore gaming pointless.

"hardcore gamers"-for some reason i just dont feel this tag goes well with a game of destiny, i mean u can have hardcore gamers in POE, COD, battlefield, dota...... but to talk about hardcore gamers in games like league of angels, or mario cart...... you get the idea right

VOG is not useless. If fact I have been back in running it again.

You can buy the gear for lvl 31 but you need shards to upgrade it to becaome lvl 31. So its 18 per piece, 4 pieces per character 3 characters = 216 shards.

You get them for 1 ) old gear 2) daily heroics and lastly VOG and VOG gear.

At lvl 31 you can realistically do the Crota Trial. The last jump to 32 is hard you need Crota shards and it will take some time.

I actually enjoy doing VOG with a lvl 31 farming shards for my other chars. What once was so difficult is now much easier.

If only bungie would had stayed with microsoft destiny could had been so much more.When you make a deal with the worst publisher in the gaming industry this is what you get bungie.Once upon a time you guys was industry leaders when it came to games now your just a joke very sad.I will never buy another bungie game and no way in hell i would pay $20 for this crap dlc for destiny.

I actually found this game quite boring....even if playing with others the storyline and narration sucks.

Bungie went on and on about how many "registered" users they had playing the game. I would like to see the numbers for "active users play this game next week. Myself and all my buddies were able to race thought content of the dark below, I have a 32 character and both of my other character are 31. I put the game down Tuesday night, a week after the dlc release telling myself I probably won't play this game again until the next expansion, still have no erge to play the game again 2 days later...

Destiny is a game I love to hate. I love that it could be something awesome and hate that they keep screwing it up. Getting new gear should be fun and exciting; it should also be detached from the "Light" level. Because of the light level, it makes it so that only raid gear (without variety) and 1 exotic piece, are the only viable sets of armor to reach the max light level. They should have just had levels based on experience and had certain pieces of armor with minimal level requirements like most MMO's. If they keep negating my raid gear...then truly what the hell is the point of playing this game....not for the story...because the story is weak.

So If I bought this game for casual multiplayer first person shooting and the occasional raiding how would it be? Would I get shot up by high level players with epicly powerful weapons?

Damm thoose LFG wont work for me. Always with casuals that can't pass the part before the oracles in VoG. When i can assemble a team of friends, the raid is a breeze. Too bad everyone got families and other duties and we cant play 24hs per day...

The reason Destiny fails is because it's a first person shooter, instead of a being in 3rd. Most people I know despise the limited FOV in FPShooters, especially in a game that's basically an MMO.

How can you call yourself Hardcore players when you didn't actually did the AMAZING Crota's Raid. You can't talk about the expension, calling yourself Hardcore players and never done the AMAZING Crota's raid. Unbelievable

Theres nothing hardcore about playing destiny.

I know people are complaining, but what other game are you playing now that is better? Halo is broken, I'm so sick of COD, and I can't go back to WoW. Pluss, I've always wanted a game where a bunch of friends and I could play PVE content. I hope they even go up to a 9 person raid. Everything isn't perfect for sure, but there's no other game taking this one's place right now.
