Killzone 2 Postmortem

i think the single player campaign on this game is better than the multiplayer, just because its so immersive, that duznt mean i dont like the multiplayer its just that this game actually took the time to create a good single player unlike most which just go for the multiplayer

I feel sorry for any developer who is attempting to make a FPS because Guerrilla has raise the bar to a seemingly unattainable level. Truely an amazing game.

the best multiplayer

Great game. Very cool multiplayer. And the controls are fine, dont listen to anyone complaining about them if you're debating on buying the game. I like them better than most FPS controls

Im always happy when a sequel to a game is better than the original. It shows the developers have grown in skill and other aspects of the trade, which is great if you expect something more of them in the future.Job well done in my opinion.

Good game, pity about the controls though, they are spoiling it for me. I shouldn't have to get used to controls.

I am not a big fan of FPS games but Killzone 2 is another story, i bought it at launch date and it is unbelievably cool.I highly recommend it, and for every PS3 owner, you must get this game.

Terror Ninja, FYI the Gamespot editors were shooting at walls in the gameplay video to illustrate how to keep a tight firing pattern and to show off how bullet holes are persistent

I realise it's a good game, but it's just not clicking for me. I absolutly hated the campaign's story. The setpieces were awsome, but they were ruined by people who felt the need to talk. I just wanted to punch Rico every second he was on screen. MP was fun and had really good maps, but as I said before, it just didn't click. I guess it just came out to late for me to really think of it as the "messiah" of FPS(btw no such thing) but I'm glad it's got a fan base. I'll just stick to Gears 2 which is finally playable online.(Yes I know the campaigns are essentially the same lol) Hope this turns out good buzz for GG to keep going as I'd like to see something new. Till then it's time to wait for inFamous!!!

Great game, incredibly addictive. Some of the scenes in the video serve to remind me just how good looking it is. Bottom line, the game is just plain fun. Can't wait for the DLC: I'd like to see more maps, at least one new class (PYRO), one new game mode and vehicles.

if it plays cooperative in the campaign with challenging bosses , I'd def, "get it "

The campaign is top notch and Im still getting used to the online, but i will say that this game is badass..

Killzone 2 is so full of win, in pretty much every aspect. I'm really looking forward to DLC. LOL @ EcksBocks360 - with a name like that, who can expect anything other than fanboyism?

i love this game, it is so well done other than the single player. it's well done too, but it feels like i'm playing the multiplayer but i dont get lvl ups cause i dont give a crap about the storyline....i have this and resistance 2 and life is soooo good. (i like the coop of res2 when i wanna relax a bit)

I am laughing at nearly ALL of you right now. What a bunch of losers. Fortunately I dont suck at the game and can stand the controls. This allows me to experience the game for what it really is.

Was fun while it lasted, but I was a bit disapointed by the graphic's overused of blurr and grain filter. It's not groundbreaking, its no system seller, but its a good first shot for the next gen shooters. Bring on the next game and improve it ( because really, there's no gameplay features in KZ2 )

agreed godoo. seems like these people prefer shooting someone in the leg and having em die in 2 shots. instead of aiming for the head or chest. lol. i use alt 2 and since patch its tighter so i cant say i have any problem lining up a headshot to finish the job.

@popcan160 to tough for you? if the enemies didnt go down without you blasting their brains out then it would be to easy and just a straight run through its called challenge

he's right, multiplayer looks just as good as single player.

I tried to like this game...I really did. It looks amazing, but the controls are just plain frustrating. How is sluggish and inaccurate realistic? Why were they so concerned with realism in the controls when freaking Radec has a personal cloaking device? How realistic is that? I've played through this game twice, and I can't stand to have another head shot just knock off a damn helmet. Why does it take 7-10 shots to take down a red-eye? Is that realistic?

first: comparing a console shooter to pc. moot. anyone who does such is clueless. pcs have the power. you just make yourself sound stupid really is all i can tell you. do consoles have a possible 2 gig of video ram and dual core etc etc with new parts every 6 months? anyone with a brain knows the answer. second: to the guy trying to argue ballistics, you simply are wrong KZ is known for realistic yet slightly exagerated death animations. you also fail to mention these are armored soldiers do you think a bullet simply passes through it all the time? last i checked these guys are armored to the teeth not nekid civies in bare skin. bullets impacting will have the same force as the initial explosion. the impact animation is sound. while slightly exagerated for amusement and dramatic purposes. third: why are you kids still trying to compare COD to KZ? different subclasses of FPS games. one is run and gun and the other is very team based and at times very tactical. so go get yer prestige level watever and get out of KZ forums if you dont like it. period. to each thier own stop trying to take a pee in our koolaid. dont cry i wasnt dissing COD its just not comparable the ways you clowns continue to compare them. simply put, if you dont like it fine dont tell us we are all wrong for loving it. and another thing how many COD games have thier been but yet they still have same types of issues? for Kzs 2nd game and really first widely accepted game in the series they did a great job and credit is due. i would think by they time they get to KZ4 or 5 or watever it should be phenominal. or just another rehashed FPS like some other ones that people seem to cling to. cough. to each thier own. shut up and game.

killzone 2 is okay, I'm trying to find the fun in it, but great graphics

good: the graphics are superb, the story's good, a lot of action bad: it's hard to aim, you die to fast, orther people die to slow(enemies too)...other than those problems the game is great

Awesome action! I haven't played a FPS with this much action in a long time. Hopefully part 3 comes sooner than later. ;P
