This is on beta for plus and it is actually pretty fun. Decent control scheme, nice visuals, character moves are pretty fluent. My only complaint is that when you're playing with four people, the camera zooms out to capture everyone playing on screen making the character models a bit smaller, coincidently also making it easy to lose track of your character in the chaos sometimes but none the less its a beautiful game and still really fun. Item drops are just right (imo) and the character specials are freaking awesome. Movesets are also exclusive to each character though the button/control set is the same across the board. All in all the game appears to be very promising.

first off they are planning to make dlc and add more characters and second look at the first super smash bros. They had hmm lets see only 12 characters. And dont say that it was a long time ago because at that time nintendo had been around for 20 years at that time just like sony has with this. PSASBR might be a smash bros clone but so what do you think nintendo didnt copy any games in their time.

This doesnt even look as fun as Super Smash Bros. Sony doesnt have many characters, which makes this kinda dumb. But I like how Sackboy is in it :)

yeah it is pretty fucked how no crash bandicoot or lara croft it would also be cool to have etzio, or someone for assassins creed 3, i really hope later they get more characters so it isn't just these 20

I like unlockables. It's too bad that they won't have any T-T. I also hope they have a larger selection of people in the final game.

I little bit different from Super Smash Bros would be appreciated. The interface, the objective, the platforming and, probably, the gameplay are identical!. SSB with Playstation characters, thats all.

Yeah even though they asked and confirmed there are no unlockable characters, I'd really like to know if there are unlockable stages, outfits or even SSMB style extras like figures or data files.

The roster might not be the ultimate all-stars, but with decent bonus content they could save a lot. Even if they can't or aren't allowed to directly mention important (former) PS brands they could do something

Kinda stupid that there are no unlockable champions. I honestly don't see any motivation to play this game more than once in a while when you're bored.

I wish i could be kratos on this game and beat the heck out of sissy kirby. Too bad there no nintendo characters on this game.

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT lol why did i ever worry that this would be on par and compete with super smash brothers? this is more like Viewtiful Joe red hot rumble....or that Mutant ninja turtle fighting game. idk im not sayn its baaaaaaad. id probly HYPE IT UP ALOT and make my friend get it...so i can save 50 bucks lol

Seems to do a good job presenting PS3 and PS2, but as a gamer who loved PSOne only to switch to Xbox I can't be but bummed. Sir Dan and Parappa are epic, but Heihachi isn't THE Heihachi, Spike isn't THE Spike and Sweet Tooth always was just a picture in character select amongst many.

I think the game looks really fun, they have the right idea, unfortunately Activision continues to ruin the gaming world by not working with superbot and getting the most popular characters in. Crash, Spyro Lara Croft etc will be sorely missed and really hold the game back imo.. Imaging Smash without Mario and Link. cmon..I do think they did a good job and got the best characters they could. Everyone just has to support it and know DLC and sequels will come from it.

Why wouldn't you have character unlockables??? Thats soo lame, that means I have no reason to play and try to unlock anything if its already given to me at the start! Jesus, didnt you guys learn anything from any game out there? Unlocking is why we play games to begin with! And that means we're not going to be surprised with any new characters at all! OMFG....well you guys better have some good DLC characters coming out otherwise, this game will be a disaster...

All I wanted was Spyro, Crash and Lara. Come on. None of the characters on the roster as of now interest me, except Sweet Tooth.
