Maybe it's because I don't play Infamous, but I think it's absolute garbage that two characters were wasted on Cole and Evil Cole. The rest of the roster is completely diverse and then two characters from Infamous? Oh, and all the comments about DLC leeching: I completely agree

I dont mind the 20 characters but it sucks that we might have to pay extra to use crash.

If this is under the common $70 release price tag (way under) then I just might pick this up. I don't have a Wii and when I venture to a friend's room to play Brawl, it takes me some time to get back into the Wii/Gamecube-style control. Yes, this may be similar to the Smash Bros. franchise..., but why do they get to have all of the fun? Optimism leads to more fun gameplay anyway.

This is just like when Nintendo had Mario dominating the platformer so Sega introduced Sonic to the world. Then the Amiga had Zool. There will always be imitators trying to have a slice of the pie. Also I'm sure Sony thought Smash Bro's was a fun game so they thought "lets treat our fans to the same kinda of fun with our characters". The game almost looks identical. I mean the speed is the same. The hit flashs are pretty similar. Characters can double jump back to safety or use one of their unique moves to try and reach a ledge to safety. Even how the camera behaves is the same. Pretty much all these mechanics are taken from Smash Bro's. Nintendo got it right the first time. Why would Sony do something different and make it worse? These are proven mechanics that work in this genre. Also Fifa and PES are damn near identical in appearance and mechanics. Whos ripping off who there?

Game looks lame. Probably only get it when it's $10 at the local pawn shop. If I wanted to play crap like this, I would've bought a Wii...

Can't wait for this game, for me I don't think the roster's too bad, if they incorporated THESE CHARACTERS in via DLC, it'd be complete where I'm concerned: CRASH - Crash Bandicoot, ABE - Abe's Oddysee (A must for me, Abe's often overlooked but was a great unofficial mascot), SOLID SNAKE (Naked Snake if they have to differentiate from SSBB) - Metal Gear Solid, SPYRO - Spyro The Dragon, CLOUD - Final Fantasy VII, LARA CROFT - Tomb Raider (Can see it being difficult making her play and feel different to characters such as Drake), LIL' & LARGE - Escape Plan (could function much like the Ice Climbers do in SSB), CHIMERA/NATHAN HALE- Resistance (bit of an oddball but could be good). Last two that'd be nice additions but aren't as important to me as the above, specifically Crash and Abe. RAYMAN - Rayman and RYU HAYABUSA - Ninja Gaiden. On a final note a Motorstorm stage and old Dante skin would nice additions too.

i see two of the same character, one being the evil version. very dumb idea. why waste a slot? also why the lame dante? why not the original, classic dante? dumb!

This is the exact same thing of SUPER SMASH BROS from Nintendo...but on Playstation and with Sony characters...... Nintendo wins on this ! all our classic heroes are on super smash bros games but at least Sony did something great ......by copying Nintendo ideas

I'm not buying it if there is only 20 characters and 7 stages. Hopefully, the final product will include more.
